He's greener than DoyleHe was a QB in McVay's offense so he's basically a more experienced Nate Scheelhaase.
January 27Jan 27 If the Eagles were to hire Mannion, I'd bet they bring in an experienced offensive assistant. Probably Nagy or Grizzard.
January 27Jan 27 Interesting they went with Brady after the owner just tore the old coaching staff a new one. I thought it would be Daboll or Webb

Think transition for guys to go from Mcdermott to Brady is easier. That said better get a better DC. Frankly if Schwartz doesn’t get the browns job they should go after him. he can do more with less.

Or Nagy. Or Mannion who's never called plays and was QB coach to the great Jordan Love.
January 27Jan 27 What about Davis Webb for us?Funny thing is it still could be Daboll in which case it’ll end in one of originally preferred scenarios or it could be a complete disaster. Mannion has coached for 2 years with no play calling. No way to spin that as a win. Again he could turn out to be amazing but the process would be a failure

January 27Jan 27 The Eagles are cooked next year and Jeff is just watching like the other Philly owners right now

There’s an unknown coach out there that will get a job somewhere and blow up. Hopefully they find that coach. But the issue with our OC spot is, do well and you’re leaving for a promotion. Our HC is more the issue than anything

January 27Jan 27 Still wild the Eagles have not even reportedly spoke to Kingsbury. That interview in 2024 must not have gone great.
