One of the best offensive performances of the year was the 2nd half of the rams game where Hurts was calling every thing on the field in a no huddle.

There are many OCs who want to run their own run scheme and I'm not sure Stoutland wants change there as run game coordinator though he might be open to it. With Moore they forced both the run game coordinator and pass game coordinator, not many guys want that. It feels like they have to open to much more change now. Hopefully that's everyone but Stoutland but we'll see

I mean, he's worked with Chip, Doug and the revolving door of coordinators under Nick. He's been rather adaptable.

I just don’t see anything special about Siriani. 2017 SB run was a masterclass of coaching.

Siriani has the benefit of an amazing roster and continues to lay eggs, come up short, and not have any evolution, can’t overcome adversity, can’t develop coaching talent, can’t get the best out of the personnel he has, can’t put together 4 quarters of offensive production, can’t manage timeouts well, cant make good situational decisions in crucial moments of games.

After watching the SF loss, how can ANYONE see him has a competent Head Coach when the man across from him completely out schemes him with way less talent at every potion, and an enormous amount of injuries.

That 2017 team had one thing in spades this years team didnt, Chemistry.

That team had a lot of team builders and leaders, and those players believed in the coaches and the scheme and eachother and it showed.

This years team it was obvious early on the players didnt respect the coaches, at least on offense and that showed its ugly head in the last loss.

The OC hire is paramount to next years success.

The more I think about it, the more I want Kingsbury to be the guy. Maybe I'm thinking about Jalen at OU too much, but spreading out the defense and letting Hurts get in a quick passing game rhythm usually works well. Of all the dumb things we did this season, the fascination with condensed splits and tight formations was the worst - Hurts, Barkley, the O Line and the WRs all excel is spread formations where they stress the defense horizontally. It's like Patullo thought tight splits were the new rage and ran them without any idea how.

I don’t understand why they didn’t go empty much at all when it’s one of the few things they’ve been pretty good at.

Offense:

  • Get a seasoned play caller.

  • Elevate the complexity of the passing game and start installing it in the Spring.

  • Fortify the depth of the offensive line. This includes the heir at RT.

  • Get tight ends who can block.

Defense:

  • Upgrade CB2 and add depth to the secondary.

Contracts:

  • Sign Phillips and maybe bring back one of Ojulari/Okoronkwo/Uche.

  • Let Goedert, Blankenship, and Dean walk.

  • I haven't figured out what to do about extending Carter, Davis, Ojomo, and Nolan.

Pending free agents: Blankenship, Calcaterra, Castro-Fields, Dean, Dillon, Dotson, Epps, Goedert, Graham, Granson, Howell, Hughlett, Jackson, Fred Johnson, Mann, Ojulari, Okoronkwo, Phillips, Pryor, Uche

Extendable contracts: Bigsby, Sydney Brown, Carter, Davis, McKee, Ojomo, Ringo, Nolan Smith, Steen

Can we just move away from 12 and 13 personnel?

Beckton couldn't stand that guy apparently

FIRE PATULLO

I'm just here for when KP finally gets fired.

The Eagles process for hiring coaches has generally been pretty bad but have yielded good results typically. With the Chargers on the clock with virtually the same timeline it would be malpractice for the Eagles to not make a formal announcement by tomorrow but somehow they'll probably drag it out

Yeah, I saw what he said. I don’t think he’s back with the Chargers, regardless of that OC change

It's a race. No need to drag it out even to tomorrow. Make the choices now and announce and start your search. It's even more important not to wait if they actually did fire Nick too

I was 100% sure Sirianni was staying yesterday but now I’m only 99.9%

And he's the one who least deserved to keep his job...
