Cross your fingers he doesn't take Monken(don't think Monken would go there over a better job that leads to HC opportunities)

I don’t think Harbaugh quit over protecting Monken. I think he used that as an out. Hey if you’re going to tell me what to do with coaches then fire me. I think he wanted a change of scenery.

Monken could very well follow him but it’s not clear that Eagles are in on Monken now anyway

I think Harbaugh is an upgrade over Daboll but the Giants are going to find out that the Ravens stability was from having a top front office in football for 20 years and it wasn’t from having a top coach.

YT algorithm is working well, I was entertained.

Didn’t Harbaugh leave Ravens because they wanted him to fire Monken and he resigned rather than do that. There is loyalty there, Monken will be there unless he gets a HC gig. Will view that as an attractive opportunity to coach up and receive kudos for a young offence - Dart, Skateboo, Nabers and potentially Tate (#5 pick). Good collection of talent. And Dart feels like a natural fit for his Lamar offense.

I like McDaniel(s) for ten guys on the offense, and KK for one.

You're implying Tua Tagovailoa was a significantly better QB in a Mike McDaniel offense than Jalen Hurts would be?

Seemed like people were thinking maybe next season. I have no idea what his situation is but I remember seeing tweets about him. Just saying. McDaniel with some more speed in the offense. Like woah.

It works till it doesn’t with McDaniel. Honestly we don’t need to add a speed WR to crack the top 3…just utilize the former Heisman winner properly. Our true WR1…

Moore had it the first 4 weeks of 2024, before the bye week. The OL wanted to run the ball more. They were right TBF.

The O was, Saquon carry us, till after the Jags game. With the exception of the Cinci game, which was an amazing game all around IMO once the D settled and survived the initial onslaught. Had Dean not saved that game, Siri 100% should have been fired. TBF

Game & season on the line. His 2 coaches just agreed with the play call in a sideline timeoutmeeting. He'd be going against both of them.

Better question: why didn't Nick the Head Coach change the play call or insist KP call something else?

Personally, that looked like less 'agree', and more like 'I'm not involved here'.

Which, if I'm being fair, is just as bad. But it kind of makes me wonder what the hell happened. Early Sirianni was very edgy, that is pretty toothless, especially with a struggling OC. Sirianni wasn't a good play caller, but he wasn't 'run 4 verts into cover 4 after you've already seen them check into cover 4' bad.

This is going to sound very bad, but I don't really want to take the time to make it better, kind of feels like he's been """emasculated""" or something. Did he just lose all his confidence in 2024 when it came to schematics? I've smelled confidence issues for a bit, but if it's that bad, while I don't think he should be outright fired for it, he should consider stepping down. I remember they said at first he was extremely reluctant to give up playcalling in 2021, what happened to where at the most important time of the season, he refuses to pick it up? I get that people get into grooves but...

I dunno. Can't do that as a head coach in the NFL. I think you absolutely can't put that specific thing on Jalen.

Bummer.

More confirmation

Still doesn't change the fact he doesn't have that same speed or explosion. He seems to have lost two steps never mind 1. And he doesn't have the same quick instant get off he used to have that was a crucial important part of his game. It seems to take him a second or two to even get going and by then he usually get caught. If he lost that element that's not going to be good.

I agree he's lost a step or two. But he doesn't deserve to use the "older mobile quarterbacks decide they don't want to run." He's not that old and I don't think he's effective if he won't or can't run

Really good point. Baltimore is one of the best drafting teams in the NFL. The only concern for me is that the Giants ability to draft on the DL. I can see Harbaugh taking that unit to the next level.

Only Philadelphia fans would want to fire a HC less than a year after winning a SB.

For many of us, we never thought we'd sniff 1 SB, let alone multiple. Now if we dont win every game and win the SB 5 years straight then its a waste.

Like some others have posted already, there seems to be unreal expectations with this team like they should never lose.

Right on.

I know but he's been doing alot of running since he was at Bama. Maybe it caught up to him earlier than it should.

Maybe he should focus more on speed and less on powerlifting. Just an opinion

Damn, guys. Harbaugh is locked in locked in. We’re in trouble.
