So you're saying Hurts is asking to be traded? According to who?

What a silly post by you. Strawman as usual.

According to?

So he wants to retire? According to who?

that doesnt mean he cant be traded.

Didn't Vikas say because of cap circumstances, that this would not be feasible for at least another year?

The strawman is the implication that he wants a contract extension so much that he'd agree to be traded for it.

Yes, and they know this.

I think he said post-June of this year is the earliest it can be done. Still a huge dead cap charge. But if you need a QB to make everything go, I believe it is money well spent.

Oh ok so it's another, Source? Trust me bro.

Got it, thanks for clarifying.

He didnt say he was asking to be traded.

On the positive side, if he really does work out the nobody is hiring a HC who was a player 3 years ago and only been a position coach/coordinator for 2 years. so he should break the Jalen play caller curse

I don't necessarily agree with that. Davis Webb got interviews. Heck Phillip Rivers was considered. I'm not going to spend time worrying about that now tho.

Not saying it will happen but in this situation the teams agree to a deal prior to this so they can complete their off season accordingly I would assume?

Capwise it can't happen until then, I guess you can have an agreement in principle but it would be off-book.

Teams could be looking at the QBs at the shrine game, and senior bowl and thinking, maybe Hurts looks a little more attractive to them right now.

On the other side of that coin, OC candidates could be coming in to meetings with the eagles saying, if you want my offense, this QB is going to be a problem for us.

He said Hurts wants a contract extension, and then implied he'd agree to be traded this off-season to get it and yet still somehow forgot to cite a source. I bet Most Accurate Reporter has the scoop.

Pretending the no trade clause makes it impossible to trade him is just not smart. Its been stated time and again when a Hurts trade is brought up.

There can be many reasons to speculate why Hurts would be open to a trade. 1. Hasnt had the best relationship with Siri. 2. Damaged relationship with AJ Brown. 3. Lack of coaching staff stability throughout his entire career in Philly. 4+. Other reasons unknown to us that players typically move on for (weather, friends with players or familiarity with coaches elsewhere, money of course is a big one).

Suffice it to say, Im sure there is more than 1 team in the NFL that Hurts will be willing to play for. I dont think he will veto all trade options.

It's possible. He just started puberty.

Not impossible, just prohibitive. Next question.

Yeah I saw that too. He was a QB coach last year so I could only figure that the 'now' isn't inferring just became but just a state that has been ongoing

What are you blathering about? Sources, smh. We've talking football, don't be a dope.

Probably not that prohibitive. Will he go to Cleveland? Maybe, but probably not. Would he go a lot of places? Probably.

You said Hurts wants a contract extension, and I asked for a source. If you don't have one, that's fine. It's not uncommon for people to make stuff up and claim it as fact around here.

It's actually quite prohibitive to add a third party which requires buy off on an agreement when there typically is only two. It's at least 50% more prohibitive, you could even say.

If he does not want an extension, that likely means he doesnt want an extension In Philly. Otherwise, like any player who is not planning on retiring, we can all reasonably assume that he would like to continue making money. Which means, contract extension.
