Mannion can take a lot of staff with him including Grizzard in his next job if he succeeds this year and becomes a head coach. That would be a selling point in any job interview for him I'm sure. It would be Grizzard's call in a sense. Eagles can always block that, but rarely do. So poaching after winning can still raid this whole staff. And we could be right back at square one. We are year by year here right now regardless of pipeline.

In your scenario, Mannion is likely going to be a HC that calls plays. That means Grizzard staying would allow him to be an OC who calls plays in Philly, while going would mean no play calling.

I think/feel that KP was in charge of the Red Zone last season. They had some creativity and good schemes down there.

And I remember a couple of the players saying - I'm paraphrasing - "KP called that one. KP drew that play up and made the right call at the right time". Like the plays to Goedert, the plays off of the Tush Push formation, etc...

True. But could also take any other OC job in the league that he may consider for best career path including a possible head coaching path. These guys get there pretty fast now.

If they nail the QB coach and RGC hires, I’ll officially be back on the bus.

Eagles didn't let the bum start over rookie Wentz.

They need to include this for taunting as well. Anything so that we can get more taunting calls.

I think the Raiders job is one of the best of any of the openings this offseason. I would put it right behind the Ravens and Bills.

I think loeffler is still qb coach.

Now the only question I have about that is was Scott in charge of red zone last year? If so you can't let him go or you gotta promote him to run game coordinator because whoever schemed red zone last year did a good job they just didn't get into the red zone enough.

Based on what? The only thing we know he did well was bringing along some of the Harold Fannin RZ plays.

We need a near total refresh on that side of the ball. Build out with as many top of the line guys as possible.

Apparently Jerrod Johnson's contract with the Texans ran out. If the Eagles were cross interviewing candidates in their second interviews for staff positions, it wouldn't be shocking to see Johnson brought in as QB coach.

Speaking of Johnsons.

He's fighting a losing battle in that first pic

He just needs to go fully bald. All the cool coaches are doing that now.

Never thought for a second he’d be retiring.

I'm fine with this. They currently correct wrong facemask calls, but too many real facemask calls are missed.

My only concern would be a bunch of roughing the passer penalties start getting called for touching the QB's helmet.

I think this is a disaster. So a team is celebrating a 4th down stop, then we come back from commercial and turns out replay called a BS roughing the passer?

Get better refs and then accept some human error

This will definitely not be good.

It'll be more flags league wide, and it'll surely hurt the Eagles more than most teams just because the refs will have a new way to screw us.

I heard Gargano and he said it was the story and it was possible. Fangio talks each year of retiring. But he's coming back
