That’d be the dumbest ideaWe’ll draft a guy and/or trade for someone again on a rookie dealThe only thing dumb about the idea was calling Doubs a number 3 WR. He's a number 2 and they are likely going to need a number 2 when AJ gets traded. They will also need a number 3 to be fair but as you pointed out Doubs will get pretty good money on the FA market. Do I expect it to happen, no, but I wouldn't rule it out. My guess is they draft a WR fairly high and sign a vet guy coming off of a down year who won't break the bank (Christian Kirk, Hollywood Brown, etc). If they put legit money into any position in free agency it will likely be TE. Lots of intriguing options on the market with Pitts, Njoku, Likely, Otton, Okonkwo, etc
January 31Jan 31 Not sure what can be done to Tisch or anyone in the files unless they're directly linked to a crime. Someone sending emails asking to be set up with women in itself is not a crime. It's a bad look though. And Epstein isn't the first time something like this has happened, there were potentially even bigger networks that took place in the 70s involving two guys named John David Norman and Frank Shelden. The former ran a child sex and porn ring out of Dallas and other cities and authorities say he had upwards of 100,000 clients all or most of whom remain unknown to this day because his client list was destroyed by the government and it was said by police to have government workers and known public figures on the lists. And Shelden had his own island he ran out of North Fox Island, Michigan where he had kids out there as young as 9 to produce CSAM and distribute it nationally and even to other countries. We don't know how many victims either had because so many are afraid to come forward for obvious reasons. But some have. And it's a tale as old as time that the people at the top sometimes get busted and held responsible, but the clients and everyone else get away scot free. And again today we'll never know how many people that creep had to that island to hurt kids. Bad situation that without a smoking gun, not much that can be done.

January 31Jan 31 It's interesting to hear how the different reporters talk about what they hear about the Eagles.McLane was on WIP some of the things he said:-Eagles internally want to run the Shanahan scheme and that's the direction they are heading clearly with these hires. Remains to be seen if they keep some of the Sirianni elements that Hurts likes or if this is a full on forcing Hurts to sink or swim with the Shanahan scheme, but that's the type of offense the Eagles brass wants to run. They think it's time to adapt.-Stoutland wasn't demoted, he wilfully gave up RGC duties as the season went on, talking with Sirianni and Howie, Lurie, etc and they realized the inside zone scheme isn't working as well anymore, teams figured out how to really stop it even though it's been their bread and butter so they all agreed for Stoutland to just focus on the OL and he's still all-in with the Eagles, he didn't view it as a slight at all or anything.-The reason the 2024 offense was better than the 2025 offense is because Moore had a no nonsense approach. He's tell Hurts "this is what we're doing" and was very matter of fact about it. Patullo deferred to what Hurts wanted all season and Hurts gained a lot more control over the offense. McLane said he knows that the Eagles brass had previously wanted to diversify the offense but in meetings and game prep Hurts flat out told the coaches he's not comfortable running certain things and isn't willing to do it.-Said the Eagles believe Hurts can run the Shanahan offense, but they really need to work with him to get him comfortable doing that type of offense and that's what this coaching staff wants to do.It's funny the divide when breaking down the Eagles and Hurts. You have the film people break down Hurts in the pros, Hurts in college, and go "Based on his film, there's no reason he should have trouble running certain offenses or throwing the ball to certain parts of the field."Then you have the reporters come out and so many reporters from McLane to Silver to Gunn to Russini have been talking about how basically the offense has sucked in recent years because Hurts is either unwilling or unable to adapt or try new stuff. So reading the tea leaves, this feels like a year where they throw Hurts into the fire and he either finds his way out and thrives or he burns and there's potentially a new QB(and possibly coach?) in 2027.

January 31Jan 31 I thought Frank Smith would be a target of the Eagles but assistant head coach is higher than run game coordinator.

January 31Jan 31 Josh Harris probably slipped some acid into Paul George's drink so he could distract from the Epstein list

I recognize Hurts has limitations and likes certain things but he has shown that he likes to win more than anything and I really doubt that he said keep calling the same bad plays you've been calling that haven't been working because that's all I'm willing to do.In any case I'm glad they are pushing for a completely new system so we can see if Hurts can/won't run it. The rest is just speculation
January 31Jan 31 Hurts said it was his offense and run how he wants and then this but the same people will likely still not believe it for.. reasons
