True, but he's not a game changer. Solid DE but I didn't see more than that. He only had 2sacks with the Eagles and 5 on the season. Unfortunately, the FA DE group is slim pickings. I think he and Oweh are close. Hendrickson would be nice but he is old. Otherwise, not much to get excited about.

Another reason tend to think he tests FA. It’s not a robust market and he is one of the top 3 at the position

Lukas Van Ness might be the odd man out at GB. Only 24, bigger DE/DT that can be added to the mix here situationally. I figure they’ll give him the 5th option this Spring, but it’s no no-brainer. Not sure what he’s worth in terms of trade value. AJ Epenesa might be a similar player and upcoming free agent.

With passing time and a 2nd SB trophy, I forgot how special that team was. I was watching and seeing the interactions between DP and Foles was something else. Talk about complete trust between the HC and QB. I'd love to see that with this team, but there's no way they ever get there. So many great names and contributions on every level. What a team, what a season and what a game.

Pure speculation here from Berman, but something to keep an eye on.

No. No one is looking for an Eagles possibility. We don't want to play there.

I don’t like the international games, but I can live with it if we’re the road team. We lost out on having 9 true home games in 2024. Don’t take another from us this year.

OT is just a higher value position is part of that consideration. So a top 50 OT prospect is going to be higher on their consensus board than a top 50 IOL.

Problem is the best OL prospects in this draft are mostly at guard. If you could get Proctor down to, say, 335-340, he might be something but at 370, I don’t think so.

Iheanachor looked great at the Senior Bowl. He is a real animal. He looks like a pure RT. Whether he is worth it at 23 depends on the Combine and individual workouts.

This is the NFL we're talking about, so of course they will take one of the Eagles 9 home games away. And they'll put the game at the most inconvenient time in the schedule too.

Freeling plays high without a lot of knee bend. Needs work. Not available at 23? Wow. I was thing day two at best. If he’s a mid round one pick this is not a good draft for tackles.

From what I've seen he should test well, how quickly he can learn the trade is a bit more difficult to ascertain - definitely a WIP in terms of footwork as he doesn't have a jump step worked out, and his hands/punch need work.

I actually think there’s a better chance they sign somebody in free agency to fill in that question mark then draft another safety high. You’re already trying to develop Mukuba so you just essentially have a a rookie and a second year guy who missed close to a 1/3 of his rookie season as your starters. Feels like asking for a lot especially having to give up draft picks to do it. Imo need more experience back there. They went after Justin Reid in free agency last year. I kind of could see them if Bryan Cook or one of the other guys I mentioned last night become available in free agency.

Did you have a chance to look at Williams’ Game 18 tape. Very raw but great attributes. Gives me more Runyan than Lane vibes. Hinton is a Michigan player. I believe you commented he needed to be stronger. Wonder if OT was addressed last year. As you say, the strength of the OL in this draft is probably IOL.

Not sleeping on Majors. Very short arms but a smart player. Was the brains at OL at UT, which was graded the best OL in college in 2024 and the Birds got two of them (albeit not the best of the bunch). (Wonder how cognizant the Birds were about Jurgens potential not to recover from the back surgery. Toth, Kendall, Majors and quite possibly Lampkin all have C capabilities).

Need is at G although Pierce makes me wonder how he will look in year two.

What we saw with Blakenship and Epps is that S needs more speed than two 4.55 level guys provide. Mukuba is that speed. I agree that it seems unlikely that they pair Mukuba with a rookie. That’s not Vic.

Reed is a great story, good player. But I think that $ will be better spent somewhere to upgrade the offense before they can offload some of those contracts, or at CB2.

I’d 100% bring Epps back. He’s a much better player than the contract he’s going to get, which will probably be next to nothing.

Wonder about Michael Carter…

They’re gonna cut him, obviously. But Vic seems to love the guy, and from what I recall folks seemed to like his work at S in that last game. Seems he’d be worth bringing back for the right price.
