Now this would have caused a riot in Philly...

Matt’s 1st OC. Mike is doing a bang up job showing he’s his own man and not Matt’s replacement.

Look at how profitable the team is while he dumps a talented kid to get under the cap. So like Vikas said he's a cheap SOB

He isn’t cheap though. He is building a new arena in the city without tax payer money. He has paid top money for the past two HCa. He is paying top money for the current GM. He has allowed the Sixers to give out some massive contracts too.

He is building that for him and he jist traded a good young player for nothing to save money. Cheap SOB

I still like Reed Blankenship and think they should re-sign him. He likes Philly and I think he would want to stay and not only care about getting more money. You're going to need to sign someone to replace him anyway, why not invest to keep a guy who knows the system and would continue to bring veteran presence? I know people are down on him for his performance in the playoff game, but other players had problems too. Jordan Davis disappears for games at a time, even DeJean and Q had some bad games (for their standard).

Reed is a smart player and prepares for opponents well. His game is more about intelligence than physical. He and Q and DeJean make a young DB trio who work well together. Sign him with a reasonable deal.

Someone needs to replace Moorehead. Have the eagles ever had a good WR coach?

Feel kinda bad for Loeffler. Bailed on a HC gig, probably had no idea how much a doofus Patullo is. Brought with him some plays that were about the only interesting, effective things we saw all season.

The hilarious thing about AJ Brown is we still don't know why he's been so miserable. Garafolo inferred the other day that he hates Jalen Hurts. He said something like "I could see the Eagles trading him, I'm not sure he and Hurts can co-exist anymore." Whatever that means, because they won a championship together, and whatever issues there are(if any) don't seem to be personal, but football related.

Then Berman in his Q&A article today said "We'll see if the Eagles can convince Brown, who they don't want to trade, to give Mannion a shot as OC in a new offense." Inferring that AJ Brown is miserable because he just hated the offensive scheme.

So which is it? And either way, I've never heard of something so ridiculous in my life. Even entertaining trading away a core player because he doesn't think the QB gets him the ball enough or because he doesn't like the scheme? No smart front office would even remotely entertain it unless the offer was worthwhile. I mean hell, Myles Garrett demanded a trade last year for reasons far sane for wanting out(money and being unable to win) and they told him to pound sand and eventually struck a deal.

If this is truly a football issue for AJ, then I don't see how that even approaches something unfixable.

Oh wow, he isn't building it for some completely ungrateful person on a message board that just trashes him? Oh how awful!

He is the best owner in the city.

I have assumed the possibility is there for Loeffler to be promoted in some role. So they may hire a QB coach and make him something else plus assistant HC or something like that.

If the speculation was true that he designed the red zone stuff, or that he was taking over play calling...

Then again those things may not have been true and maybe he wasn't really any help.

There's not much to promote him to since they already have a PGC. Just being assistant HC seems like lateral at best. His background is QB's and passing so being the new run game coordinator doesn't seem to make much sense.

I think AJ is a diva WR and different things upset him on different days. That said a lot of WRs are divas so they should do whatever is best for team

A business supporting actual gay people is not the same as forcing a religious book on employees. That is an extemely false equivalence.

It’s not any different than a company forcing employees to support pride, even if it does go against your beliefs. You can choose to ignore it just as you can choose to ignore the Bible that was gifted. He’s not giving them hw that they need to do and report back or anything.

We don’t know what’s wrong with AJ. The ppl directly involved with him daily, players and coaches say everything is fine. AJ has never said he wants to be traded, actually the opposite, that Philly is his home. He simply voiced his frustration about the terrible offense we kept putting out there and ppl got upset he did so. I enjoyed it, nice to see transparency as opposed to "we’re working, grinding, going to figure it out,” for 18 consecutive weeks

Not interested, but something to monitor.

I believe/hope that Howie won't be bullied into anything. That's how you make bad trades. They are under no obligation to do anything.

If he isn't going to be happy here and half ass it while whining to the media like he was last year then there is no point in keeping him around.

Is it the 2026 1st we owed OKC? They will make him a very good player.

If they end up trading him I hope it's to the Jets. Don't reward him for acting like a melodramatic tween.
