February 4Feb 4 Rapsheet says Mannion is picking the new OL coach. So they've basically given full control to a rookie OC who's coached for only 2 years and if he's gone in a year either because he sucks or because he's great and gets a job, then we lose Mannion and Stoutland.Absolute Fing joke. What are Lurie and Howie doing? All of this just to keep Sirianni in place? I hope it's worth it. I have a feeling they will sorely regret this in a year.

You have to wonder if that plays into Lane Johnsons decision as well.I can’t imagine a scenario where they would let him go. I can’t imagine that any of the oline would be anything other than distraught. Maybe he’s retiring.

The second he gets a job offer from another NFL team, he's gone. Book it.Unless they have some type of arrangement where if Mannion doesn't work out they bring him back as OL coach. Doubt it though.
February 4Feb 4 This decision after the new OC hired.Going younger with offensive coaches, Lurie & Howie wanting Shanahan/McVay offense style. Fangio considering retirement, defense gonna need new coaching too.Hope they can stay competitive and win another SB, they have the roster.

Between Mannion and Grizzard, and giving the keys to the offense to Mannion, I think this is Lurie not-so-quietly stocking up on talent for the future. If Mannion kills it, you can turn the page on Sirianni and have Grizzard in house to immediately step in as OC. Lurie has to be as tired of the OC turnstile as we all are.

The point is everyone dismisses the rumors about him asking for a trade, being unhappy, being disgruntled, purely media driven etc. But then give examples of it happening all the time with players who ended up being traded because they were unhappy, disgruntled etc.
February 4Feb 4 Just now, Sack that QB said:Yeah another organization is going to hire him away… so i suspect he’s gone sooner rather than later
February 4Feb 4 Awful news.Wouldn't be surprised if a Lane retirement follows as well now. Eagles should not have publicly embarrassed him by leaking that story of the demotion last season. Shouldn't even have demoted him last season when they had a total bozo as OC.
February 4Feb 4 13 minutes ago, NOTW said:Well she asked, he answered. And that actually happens all the time. One offseason fans lost their minds because Cox was on Cam Heywards podcast talking about playing together. Lots of players joke about other players joining them. Slay used to talk a lot about Micah Parsons coming here."It would be cool playing together” isn’t remotely the same as "come here and play with me”.
February 4Feb 4 Whether it's been the OC or Sirianni, things have not quite been right whenever we've had a rookie OC and Sirianni's had the ability to intervene. The veteran guys, Steichen and Moore, killed it probably because Sirianni couldn't interject himself as easily. All this power being given to Mannion so quickly has to be Sirianni's notice that he's on the chopping block. As well he should be.
February 4Feb 4 2025 collapse looking way worse than 2023. At least we made things better after that one. This has all been negative.
February 4Feb 4 The team reeks of dysfunction right now. Lurie needs to get his organization under control. Things have potential to unravel quickly. And the one person who remains is the doofus of a head coach.
February 4Feb 4 BG gives % of chance free agents will be back.Phillips: 50%Dean: 30%, teams will be interested. Blankenship: 80%, says Reed won't command that much money.Reed watching this: WTF man!
February 4Feb 4 With Stoutland leaving and Fangio probably on his last year the next head coach will be able to build a staff from scratch
