February 5Feb 5 I'm more upset at the team's chaos now than Stoutland leaving. That stuff happens. He's not the only OL coach in the league and while he's definitely among the best it's not like there's no one else who can coach OL. The OL performance has largely been a function of healthy talent.

February 5Feb 5 I swear if we replace the QB coach and O-line coach/RGC but keep Moorehead I might lose it
February 5Feb 5 McLane said the other day that Stoutland was all in with the Eagles and it was a mutual decision for him to give up run game coordinator duties. But I wonder if he was wrong and Stoutland took offense to that.
February 5Feb 5 Very lucky for SB LIX because a year ago it felt like this team had potential to be a dynasty and now it feels like if a few things go against the Eagles this offseason this thing could be headed for an iceberg quickly. If they lose Lane and Fangio decides to retire 7 wins next season would not remotely shock me.
February 5Feb 5 F me, what a mix up. Here we were worried about not having Vic this year, while Stout was in the background packing his bags the whole time. Imagine if Vic did retire, probably would have called next season a wash already.
February 5Feb 5 This is too weird. Was this the big news that was talked about or was this just sprung on them?Agreed with whoever said Lane is probably next sadlyAll signs point to Nick though. I know I'm biased but still
February 5Feb 5 With Berman seemingly reporting the news first, this must have been what he was alluding to on the Philly Special pod last week
February 5Feb 5 Not to be overly dramatic(I would never!) but given how loaded the 2027 draft is projected to be, part of me wonders if the best thing for the future of the organization is to just rip the band aid off, have everything go terrible in one year instead of spreading it out over multiple years and get a high draft pick in a loaded draft out of it. I’m not there yet, but if Fangio and Lane retires I will basically be there.
February 5Feb 5 Wow…just wow! The big question is whether this is a Howie/Lurie thing or Mannion being giving a ton of leverage and authority with his hiring…I have a hard time believing that! Also my best guess is Nick is cut out of this…could be wrong!

February 5Feb 5 Gargano who was the first to say that Fangio was staying is saying that Stoutland is leaning toward retirement.
February 5Feb 5 Very surprised about Stout leaving. It definitely stings. It was bound to happen one day, it just sucks it’s happening now after the disappointing season. AJ might get traded in a month. It’s a great thing Fangio is sticking around because we were this close to losing Stout, & possibly AJ/Fangio all in one offseason.

I’m not there yet, but if Fangio and Lane retires I will basically be there. This team won 11 games and the division this year with awful output from the offense and would have slept walk back to the Super Bowl if the offense was just above average. The defense is young with no crucial pieces leaving and I’m assuming Fangio stays for one more year. Saquon isn’t getting any younger and you owe it to Lane if he comes back for another year. Next season feels like the final year of the window before they have to make some tough decisions. You have to stay all in.

They’ve been doing the same thing on the OL for many years now
February 5Feb 5 I honestly feel like Stoutland leaving is also him not having confidence in Sirianni anymore
February 5Feb 5 so basically stripping run game coordinator from him cost them Stoutland. Great job, fellas.
February 5Feb 5 I lost a lot of respect for Sirianni for how he handled the Sean Desai situation . But that was pretty easy to get over after the SB win.I’ve lost almost all my respect for Sirianni for promoting Patullo and the encyclopedia-length ramifications of it. He put his own relationship ahead of the team and that would’ve been a fireable offense if not one year removed from the SB.But now it’s clear. He’s a right place, right time Howie surrogate. Thanks for the SB, your shelf life has ended, GTFO.
