February 5Feb 5 basically said Nick and Patullo designed new running plays late last year and Stout didn’t like it and gave up title and that he was reluctant to get involved in new Shanahan type scheme

The point being, if we lose an OC, DC, and our OL coach, we should just lean in to the nuclear option and trade Hurts as well. Because thatll be too much to overcome. So you may as well rip the bandaid off all at once and get to work on eating that dead cap charge. This may come to a shock to you but there’s more coaches out there that can do this job well. We have the talent that makes the job easier. Unless you’re name is Kevin Patullo or Nick Sirianni

February 5Feb 5 Utter failure and disaster on the hands of Howie & Lurie. We should be in a dynasty and this tandem completely blew it. Wow, just no words for this spectacle.

He may hint at things that don’t come to fruition but he doesn’t just throw crap at the wall like some random podcaster. He didn’t even throw crap at that wall here. He literally just said there could be more they are talking about.
February 5Feb 5 WAH WAH WAH SIRI DID NOTHING TO TRY TO MAKE THE OFFENSE BETTER.WAH WAH WAH SIRI TRIED TO MAKE THE OFFENSE BETTER SO WE BLAME HIM FOR STOUTLAND QUITTING!You guys just wont stop complaining no matter that Siri does.Stoutland isnt all that mad if he is going to remain involved with the franchise. Hes just done coaching. Most likely if everyone could think logically, the biggest driving issue in his decision will be trying to fit his OL in to a brand new offense. And maybe, just maybe for an old coach, seeing his OL in shambles health wise and knowing his legendary group is basically at the end of its glory days, he just doesnt want to stick around long enough to rebuild the whole thing.

February 5Feb 5 The Eagles are basically willing to uproot a massive chunk of the organization to adopt the Shanahan offense, but aren’t even willing to fire the head coach to bring in a long term fixture who can truly run that offense. This thing is being pieced together so awkwardly. They want to run the Shanahan scheme… a scheme the head coach doesn’t even run. So they brought in a rookie OC with 2 years of coaching experience as the guy to do it because no one else wanted the job. So does that mean if Daboll took the job(who doesn’t use the Shanahan offense) then Stoutland would have been back? This feels like Lurie and Howie are just flying by the seat if their pants.

Maybe that pissed Howie off a little. Everyone talks about Sirianni and his hands on everything but don’t discount what Howie tries to control as well. A lot of things just seemed off about this team throughout the season and I think you’re seeing changes being made because of it.

It’s not like they used him much at all at any point in the season either.

It’s happening all over the league right now with different teams.

If he’s a good CEO coach that’s what he needs to do and just focus on that. But the team better be detailed and together since that’s his core values. We’ll see how much Stoutland actually remains with the organization. At best, it sounds like an unofficial role that doesn’t have much meaning. Garofolo also said teams will be calling so he may not be done coaching yet.

If he wanted to coach, he wouldnt be taking a Mr Nobody role with the organization. It seems pretty clear he wants to be here and is just done coaching.
