Go back in this thread and any eagles social media throughout the season and after every game people are complaining about patullo. Also feel free to look at the 3,000 tweets about how many hitches the eagles ran this season, the route maps. No change at all from week 1 to the playoff loss. They're in the regular season blog, don't even have to go to Twitter or anything.Honestly I can't even tell if you're trolling with how obtuse you're being so i'll leave you to do your research and call it a night.
February 5Feb 5 I thought his draft evaluation point was something i didn’t initially think of. I have to imagine guys like Hinton, Kendall, Lampkin and Williams were guys stoutland like and expecting him to develop. Now don’t know if the new OL likes them or can develop them into the new scheme.

The run game sucked all season. The team also needs to go in a new direction offensively. I know most people will take Stoutland's side in all of this and create this doom and gloom drama narrative but I think this is what's best for the offense and team moving forward.

Especially considering that lane is probably done even if he doesn't want to be, AJ is likely gone after this season (if he's even here for this season), goeddert may be gone, saquon one year older. The talent level on offense is possibly about to decrease dramaticallyI'm not so sure about a SB caliber team with an O-line that struggled most of the year. O-line is maybe the most important position group on a team. You always hear the saying the O and D lines are the most important. Not to mention as good as the Defense was, there was still some issues. Jalen Carter didn't play as well with his shoulder issues. CB 2 was a problem. Blankenship didn't play as well and the opposite Safety position with Makuba, Epps and whoever else filled in was up and down. We were not the most talented roster in the NFL this year. We had the most expensive offense in the NFL but that's a big difference from being most talented.

Its very obvious many of you will never be happy with anything Siri does, or doesnt do. And all of the stuff you are bringing up has already been beaten to death. The end.

Total incompetence.Or they wanted to go in a different direction and evolve the offense and Stoutland refused and chose to move on. Not nearly as dramatic as your take but certainly a more fitting representation of truth based on common sense.

Thats an assumption by you while media speculated that it had changed.

So this is just the latest thing that the Eagles came into the offseason planning for something else and it didn’t go the way they wanted. That doesn’t mean it will prove to be franchise ruining, but it’s certainly not ideal at the very least.Wrong. They wanted him back as the OL coach, not as the run game coordinator since he was unwilling to adapt and implement a new run scheme and allow the offense top adapt. It was essentially a mutual breakup based on the facts. Again though, people like you love to create a false narrative based on female junior high level emotion and drama.

Last year was a decline before Sirriani stepped in. Understand Stout losing energy but sometimes change is ok.Posts like this are exactly why you bring so much to the table here. Being level headed and using common sense is a rare thing in Eagles fandom.
February 5Feb 5 One thing I find interesting. Tim McManus said Stoutland felt his voice wasn’t heard. AJ Brown literally said his voice wasn’t heard. Not sure what that means if anything but it raises eyebrows.

That’s not what the article says at all speaking of creating a false narrative. For one, I didn’t say they wanted him back as run game coordinator. Stop lying man. It wasn’t a mutual breakup. They wanted him back as OL coach. The article says he felt disrespected by his voice not being heard throughout the season and was basically not informed of his role of run game coordinator being diminished. So he started to feel like he wanted to leave the organization if his expertise was no longer being valued. Breaking News: all-time greats have self worth and whenever they’re disrespected they aren’t going to take kindly to being ignored. He’d still be here if he wanted to be here. Just focusing on coaching the OL. And run game coordination would have gone to someone else.
February 5Feb 5 1 hour ago, HazletonEagle said:The run game sucked. A decent chunk of people in the blog criticized Stoutland. So when people claimed Siri did nothing to try to fix the offense, we are going to complain that he actually tried to change the one thing about the offense that regressed more than anything else from the prior season? The thing we needed to be successful? We are seriously going to blame Siri for that now too? If he wasnt supposed to try to make things better, and he wasnt supposed to NOT try to make things better, what was he supposed to do?Never thought I would say this, but I couldn't agree more with you. The outrage over this is laughable. The run game sucked all season and went it far beyond the OL being banged up. As you said, people were questioning Stoutland all season. Now that this happens the drama queens come out in droves to cry like little girls and create false narratives. It was time for the offense to evolved and change. If Stoutland didn't want to be a part of that that is perfectly fine but it was absolutely the right call to put him on notice and force him to make that decision. Stoutland is a great OL coach, but this is a necessary change at the right time and both things can be true. Also, I am not the biggest Sirianni fan but you are 100% correct. People can't have it both ways and say "what does he do as head coach" and then then get on his case when he something isn't working and he tries to fix it.

Each was arguably the best OL coach in the league at the time they all worked for the Eagles. I don't know if the next "best OL coach" in the league is available right now. But when he is, the Eagles will pay what it takes to get him here. It's what they've done for the past nearly 20 years.

He literally confessed late in the season ...when it was all coming apart... that he needed to become involved in the offensive scheming....that he was leaving it up to Patullo prior to that to run things. That is absolutely the most stunning confession I have ever heard from a leader of a team. He also said that he would also wanted to start overriding the play by play decisions but he knew that would slow things down. What head coach turns his back on the actual schemes? What was he doing all season? At this point, Lurie/Howie are also really culpable...

February 5Feb 5 Imagine this: Mannion and Grizzard get to help bring in a new run game coordinator who shares the same vision as they do when it comes to not only the run game, but an offense that marries the run and pass games together. Then the offense has a collaborative approach where everyone is on the same page. Oh, and the offense actually evolves and becomes a modern day NFL offense as opposed to a HS offense where simply having the better players is the only thing that makes it look good. In the process, all questions there are about the QB and head coach get answered and for better or worse the organization can move forward. What a terrible thing........😂
