If I'm the turds, I put him on the block and see if I can get a haul. If not a haul, then I'd deal with it. Turds are right there to overtake us especially now.Lol, no they aren't.

I was/am certainly hoping for a 1st and at the very least a 2 and a 4 or something like that. As much as I want to see them fill as many needs as possible this off-season if the choice were between a 2nd in 2026 or a 1st in 2027 I would easily take the 2027 1st.I have a hard time seeing the Eagles making that move given the cap ramification/money involved for just a second round pick. I just don’t see the Eagles trading him away unless they get the value they seek/want for him. Frankly whether he wants to stay or not, what he said during SB week helps them in terms of leverage

I’ve seen folks say Dotson can fill the void, that’s crazy talk. He sucks. Window is open for one more year maybe 2. Keeping AJ gives us the best chance to win.My original post was about a situation with no cap implication where he's traded for Maxx Crosby. It's confusing how everyone thinks Dotson sucks so bad when he's thrown to 4 times a year. He's made some incredible catches, he gets open at a decent enough rate. He would be a fine 2. Not amazing, fine. They would also obviously draft a WR if AJ was traded, who ALSO doesn't have to be amazing. An offense that doesn't pass the ball more doesn't need 2 top 10 receivers

Sucks to go out with an injury but it's just gonna happen again next year. Johnson is the stop gap for a year. Toth is a proven reliable backup.
February 8Feb 8 Would have thought he was option for eagles since he was with Fangio in Miami but then again maybe that’s why he’s not

Campbell can't do what Dean can do. Campbell is great in space, but he's not a downhill player. Just look how he was used. Dean plays behind the LOS. Campbell can cover ground.

My immediate thought was that Howie and/or Lurie told Brown they would do everything in their power to accommodate his trade request but that he needed to quiet the noise and say all of the right things to help with his trade value. I also don't think it's a coincidence that we got reports this weekend that the Eagles aren't sure if they are going to trade him or not and will have discussions over the next couple of weeks.

Benching our first round picks just so we can outbid bad teams for Nakobe Dean is dumb as hell. He’s gone. Blankenship is our best safety, but without a legit DE then our D is not great. Our D can be great without Blankenship. We were night and day before and after PhillipsThis is a crazy exercise. Blankenship? Really?Winner winner chicken dinner
February 8Feb 8 I'm really liking the idea of going after Alijah Vera-Tucker for RG and Max Iheanachor for RT in the draft. Vera-Tucker should fit the wide zone very well, only 26, very high upside. If we had Stout, we probably would've had a leg up on the rest of the league but it's still possible of course. Joe Douglas drafted him. I am hoping they do not just pencil Steen back in at RG and think all is well. This o-line is gradually falling back into the pack and without injury, he is easily our weakest link. They need to focus on re-establishing it as the core strength of our offense, this is not the strongest draft unfortunately for o-line, so pickings will be slim I fear. Looking at Max Iheanachor; he is green, but very high upside. The athleticism is off the carts which should be a prefect fit for the wide zone. He has all the measurables, plenty of strength, very high upside player. The right side with him and Vera-Tucker, could be deadly for years to come. Let Max sit behind Lane for 1 year. The other potential top RT's I'm interested in, Blake Miller - ultra feisty and very athletic, and Monroe Freeling.

I really liked him coming out of the draft and feel like he is one of those free agents who will leave his current team and be much better on his second contract. I also think Steen is an excellent 6th OL, average starter so slotting him back where he belongs on the depth chart with an AVT signing would improve two spots on the OL.

February 8Feb 8 It is impossible not to notice how happy Hurts is to finally be out of the KP offense. I remember seeing a picture of him smiling for a picture lately too.

That's not even including the off-field stuff. It's time to sell him at the peak of his value.Would need to travel back in time to do that.

February 8Feb 8 2 hours ago, Sack that QB said:So I was thinking today about the Eagles and why after every Super Bowl they usually fall pretty hard the next season. Obviously I think some of it has to do with the fact that it's incredibly hard in the NFL to maintain success. It's a long season, guys get beat up, a lot of luck involved, etc. But we all thought after last season it could be the start of a dynasty type run. Went to two SBs in 3 years, are prime to go back to another in 2025 and it didn't happen. After 2017 that team fell apart after. So I was thinking what separates the Eagles from the teams that were able to maintain that elite success for longer? The difference to me is those teams are driven by generational QB and/or generational coach. And the Eagles are driven by a great 53 man roster built by Howie. And it's much harder to keep a great 53 man roster together than it is to keep a great QB and coach together. Credit to the Eagles, they've gone to and won multiple SBs without either because Howie is a wizard. But it's much harder to sustain to me. I think with all the concerns we have about Stoutland leaving and all that... if this team had an elite franchise QB and/or an elite head coach, we'd all be feeling so much better about 2026 right now. If 2026 doesn't go well, I'm even more certain that Lurie and Howie should pull the plug on Sirianni and Hurts and try again. And keep trying until they get their own elite QB and coach duo. Specifically QB because elite QBs attract elite head coaches. But credit to Howie for building rosters so loaded that the Eagles haven't needed it, but when you realize how hard it is to sustain with the cap ramifications of that, they can't rely on Howie working miracles every year. The most surefire way to build a team that is elite year over year is elite QB and coach. This is pretty good stuff. I think the front office plan is to dump Sirianni but this is a transitional year. They’re changing the offensive identity and if Mannion works he’s next year’s HC. It’s a major shift. Unless he does something special. Sirianni is out and Hurts is very much on trial.
February 8Feb 8 Go Seahawks. I'll probably watch a quarter or so, then do some reading, and then finish the night up with the Food Network.
February 8Feb 8 NFL Youtube did a top 60 Super Bowl plays ever and the Philly Special only got 26th. Most of the ones ahead of it are laughable. #1 was Eli Manning to Tyree 😑
