You’d trade him and be forced to ride out 2026 with McKee. That being said, an entire offseason of McKee with the 1s in an offense suited for his strengths would be interesting. I think he’d probably do well In McDaniels offense.

Maybe an Edge if Phillips leaves. But otherwise I expect 95% of their offseason activity to be trades and draft.Dean is gone -- that's why they used a 1st on Campbell. Phillips will come down to price -- I had been modeling 4 years, $100mm with like $50mm guaranteed. For context, Sweat got 4 years, $76.4mm with $38mm guaranteed, but Phillips is younger, better and doesn't have a degenerative knee. I think Howie will have a level for Phillips and won't chase.
Thursday at 08:04 PM1 day AJ Brown is gone with a capital G. People can talk all they want about dead cap hits, trade compensation, etc but it's as obvious as can be. He is almost 30, declining, and has been a distraction for two years now. When a diva WR makes up their mind it's time to move on it's over. The Eagles got a few really good years out of him and a SB win. They made good on their investment and it's time to cash out and move on.

Seattle got a 2nd and a 7th for Metcalf and a 6th, and DK got a new contract from Pittsburgh. That's going to be the comp everyone looks at. Yes, AJ has been more productive, but coming off a down year and there's a perception he wants out. There's less than zero chance of getting multiple 1st round picks. The only players on our roster who might warrant that are Carter and Q.Fans would burn down the stadium and Howie would need to beef up his security detail if he traded away Q

They just invested a first round pick in Campbell who showed enough while Nakobe was out and Nakobe is a risky signing as it is since he can't stay healthy. I also agree on Phillips that it will come down to price. If the number is even remotely reasonable I think he is back but if someone is willing to pay massive $ for him despite the injury history I think Howie will walk away. I would also say that Goedert is probably gone. He had a good enough year as a receiver to warrant a nice contract and at his age with a clear decline in his blocking I think it's time to get younger and invest a decent pick or two in the position and wish him well.

I wouldn't rule out them keeping Dean, getting out of the Baun contract in 2027 and rolling forward with Dean and Campbell. Otherwise they'd be looking for another LB a year from now and will have just Campbell and Mondon on the roster. One year from now the deepest LB group in the league is about to become super thin. I don't think it's the likeliest scenario, but I think it's more likely than other people do. Also depends on cost. I think he'll get around 10-12m per season. Hard to project because his injury history will weigh in.

Thursday at 08:08 PM1 day If I were a betting man then I’d read the PC as they are hiring an OC who will have control (it’s never full when there is HC)Howie went out of his way to praise Nick for doing whatever it takes to win and said Nick is great at head coach things. Nick said he got involved last year because he had to. Now ultimately they need to hire a guy who you can trust with full control. Hopefully it all aligns.

Thursday at 08:12 PM1 day Having Brown and Smith really spoiled some fans. Who would replace Brown? Howie doesn't have a good track record of drafting WRs. Or even trading for them for that matter

I think they retain at least one of Hunt and Smith as well (they will exercise Smith's 5th year option this offseason). The rest will be filled in with younger players and FAs. At LB, you have Baun for at least one more year and Campbell through his rookie contract. At safety, Mukuba and we'll see (part of me just wants the insanity of round 3 with CJGJ since he will be cheap as hell). And guys like Ojomo will get paid elsewhere.
Thursday at 08:13 PM1 day I’d be shocked if we stood pat on offensive personnel. The last time we were in this situation, we added the best external OC we could and signed Saquon. This year, I expect us to add the best external OC they can and add at least 1 significant player, maybe a trade up for an OL. They’re not just going to babysit this highly paid roster and hope for better results - Howie will take a hammer to this thing, and he should.
