Yeesh.

I know he was hurt and missed games but have zero idea if he came back and played crippled like Landon and Cam this year.

It would explain things if he was mangled.

Otherwise, that's a #4 overall pick playig that bad at close to 100%. Yeesh, indeed!

Love me some analytics, but I completely dismiss this stat. He got +79 yards off missed tackles but only +42 over expected? So he was either terrible on his other runs or the expectation is to break tackles?

I'm guessing the expectation would be to break a league average number of tackles, and get a league average number of yards of that.

Otherwise almost every running back will generate positive rushing yards over expected (as most are breaking at least some tackles during the game)

Short arms got exposed outside like they did last SB?

He needs an offseason for the ages with the odds stacked against him. Every time the Eagles have a great offseason they have a great season. Every time the Eagles have a bad offseason they have a down season. It's like clockwork. The Eagles season is usually very predictable based on the offseason. If this offseason gets any worse I'd look for quite a disappointing 2026. Howie needs to take the wheel and turn this thing around.

Even with players leaving, the eagles will have talent. And every team has holes. Howie just has to plug a bunch of them. But not necessarily all. They can/should be in contention again as long as Manion, and Hurts are any good. Manion has to be better than Patullo which shouldnt be all that hard. Hurts definitely has to be better than he was last year.

Howie has his work cut out for him. He failed last off-season and thus far this off-season, the deck is severely stacked against him and it might even get worse.

The window for having superior talent than everyone else has closed.

They can still win as one of the 5 or 7 best teams but its a much harder road.

I'm thrilled they went to 3 SBs in 8 years and excited for the future.

Its a pretty wide spread from about +1ish to -1ish

I know people were mixed on him being a top 10 draft pick based on his arms.

They need Lane and Dickerson back. And a good draft.

Every year as we turn to the draft I give thanks to the 2013 Chiefs, Jags, and Dolphins.

1 Eric Fisher

2 Luke Joeckel

3 Dion Jordan

4 Lane Johnson

Great job Seahawks, but this was a better defensive performance against a much better offense.

I was nervous we were going to go up for Will. Lane really liked him and wondered if they'd target him. Thank god that didn't happen.

Really this comes down to the Eagles and Howie need to start revamping the offense. They kinda need to do what they did in the draft with the defense. But now with the offense. with Landon Dickerson and lane Johnson contemplating retirement, I think you have to heavily invest in the offensive line. Hopefully we are as good at that without Stoutland as a mainstay. They also need to identify tight end and wide receiver. Besides Devonta we really haven’t done a great job at drafting and developing wr

I am hoping I’m wrong, but I really feel like next year is kind of a transition year for the offense. And you have a really good defense that should keep you in games so that you could be competitive and potentially be a really good team. But I think with a new offensive coordinator and his first time calling place and installing an off. and his first time calling plays and installing an offense in one off-season is a lot. I kind of think they’re gonna have some struggles and ups and downs early in the year. You kind of hope that they’re hitting their stride by week nine and 10 and that the offense starts to become second nature.

I wasn’t high on Campbell. But if Stoutland thought he was gonna be a good player, I kind of trust him. He got vaitai to play at a level to which we could win a SB. Gets a little lost in everything with SB LII but vaitai wasn’t Jason peters but for where we drafted him, he was very serviceable.

And its a nice year for WRs and OGs it seems. Maybe not so much OTs, but we already have a few developmental guys there.

It also fits our needs on defense. Backup NT, nice S and Edge classes. Solid CB class at least in the first few rounds.

TEs are pretty nice, though I dont know how many of them are blockers. Im really liking Max Klare as a target. He can block, and if you go back to his Purdue tape hes a heck of a receiver who just wasnt utilized much by ohio state.

Tbh I kind of think the Eagles are going to invest in a safety in free agency. You mentioned it and I also mentioned it, it’s a good FA class at S . If you want an upgrade from Reed Blankenship, it’s actually out there. last year they really didn’t need to go get ann upgrade and yet they still went after Justin Reid (but signed with saints). So I wouldn’t be all that shocked if the Eagles made an investment in that position. I don’t think they want a rookie and Mukuba being the starters out there week one

I’ve also said this before, if there was one splash free agent that the Eagles were going to do, I would actually go after Linderbaum. First, I think he’s an upgrade to Cam Jurgens. Second, I can always move cam Jurgens back to right guard. Hope Dickerson comes back. If he doesn’t then move steen over the left guard. Then I can wait on getting myself a guard until the 3-4th round that can compete with Tyler Steen. Do not see it happening, but I don’t rule it out entirely. I just think he signs with ravens or giants

tbh the 5 best defense the faced all year were Steelers week 3, chargers in wild card, Texans in divisional round, broncos in afc tittle game and Seahawks. The Patriots offense scored 14, 16, 21 (defensive td), 10 (thanks to stidham fumbling at the 12 on a dumb play) and 13 (garbage TD). Means Maye and the patriots avg 14.8 ppg in those games.

This whole alternate half-time show is such loser energy

That's a bad list besides Burrow who kinda sucked in 2021 but is elite for some reason.

Brady took 13 playoff games to get to 8 playoff turnovers. (with 21 TDs)

Maye has 8 in 4 games. (with 7 TDs)

Outside of the top 3 receivers, which will all be long gone by 23, it's pretty meh.

don’t believe it could be the Rams and Niners cause they’re starting this season in Australia. I would like see Roger goodell stick it to Robert Kraft and making them have to see the Seahawks hang the banner.

I’d guess it is likely cowboys or bears

Cowboys, Bears, Patriots. Don't think it'll be the Chiefs unless Mahomes is 100% and ready to go. Will depend on camp.
