Wonder how much AJ still wants to go to the Patriots after that mess of an offensive performance.

He don’t even want to leave Philly.

I don’t usually get personal on here, but your post hit me. I’ve been where you are. I’ve had a couple suicide attempts in my past and spent time in inpatient treatment afterward. I’m still in therap

Hate how this Seahawks defense is getting this Dark Sode name that the media is pushing when the superior Eagles defense did not get a name.

You can argue about if it will work or not, but the FO has a coherent vision with the signing of Mannion as the OC, and Kuper and Mahaffey joining. There is a clear offensive identity shift towards the Shanahan/McVay principles. This is addressing the most glaring issue of the Eagles dropping from 7th to 19th in scoring PPG, and EPA from 4th to 19th.

Can't tell you how many times I'd see Hurts roll out and immediately know the play was dead. Mannion's (Shanahan/McVay) system should be perfect for Hurts running play action boots and read options while maximizing Barkley with outside zone. DeVonta should feast as a volume type receiver, and we'll probably all be blown away watching AJ actually being utilized on crossers.

I imagine there will be some growing pains as the OL learns the new techniques and blocking schemes. Long term, I think they have made the right moves and the rest of the offseason should be fascinating to watch.

Hurts is a mobile qb who doesn’t have the arm strength or fluid/compact release to throw well on the move.

Granted, Stafford isn’t mobile and Purdy doesn’t have an arm either…so they make it work.

But I don’t think Hurts throwing on the run is going to change for the better even with different coaching.

Another coach hired and Aaron Moorehead is still here...

I think he is the next one gone honestly.

O line coach was probably a higher priority

This OLine Coach hiring........oh boy.

Ugh, welp I'll give the new Offensive Staff some leeway. Might take a season or two to get into gear.

Minnesotas line sacks allowed the past 4 seasons

47, 47, 58 and 60

For reference, Eagles were 48, 42, 58 and 36

Worth noting that includes Two Superbowl runs for the Eagles and 2 other playoff games. Minnesota only had 2 playoff games in that span.

Sounds like a brilliant strategy to get Hurts running again. 🙏

KOC also decided to go with JJ McCarthy instead of Sam Darnold.

I think that was a GM decision that got the GM fired. They chose McCarthy over Darnold based on $$$

Do we know what his scheme's expectations are for the OG? Have to imagine it will impact the decision Dickerson makes.

Perhaps, but Dickerson is only one year into a 4-year contract worth $84M. Gotta believe he's playing if he's healthy enough. If he isn't healthy enough, the scheme won't matter, regardless.

The oline sucked this past year nothing new.

Even Maye was injured apparently. What a cluster F joke of a playoffs we got this year

Is Stout still under contract next year (2027)? Might be back after a season in the broom closet.

The whole Bad Bunny incoherent mumbling thing had me wondering where I'd heard it before.

Hurts could never ph34r

Tbh I kind of think the Eagles are going to invest in a safety in free agency. You mentioned it and I also mentioned it, it’s a good FA class at S . If you want an upgrade from Reed Blankenship, it’s actually out there. last year they really didn’t need to go get ann upgrade and yet they still went after Justin Reid (but signed with saints). So I wouldn’t be all that shocked if the Eagles made an investment in that position. I don’t think they want a rookie and Mukuba being the starters out there week one

I’ve also said this before, if there was one splash free agent that the Eagles were going to do, I would actually go after Linderbaum. First, I think he’s an upgrade to Cam Jurgens. Second, I can always move cam Jurgens back to right guard. Hope Dickerson comes back. If he doesn’t then move steen over the left guard. Then I can wait on getting myself a guard until the 3-4th round that can compete with Tyler Steen. Do not see it happening, but I don’t rule it out entirely. I just think he signs with ravens or giants

This is one of those "just so happens" stats to me. There were turnover-worthy plays he was making.

I said it last night -- right before halftime when the game was 6-0 Darnold was late on a throw to JSN at the goal-line that Gonzalez stepped in front of. The ball hit him in both hands and he didn't catch it. Had he made the INT it could have been a momentum shift, but it didn't happen.

Hopefully they don't take too long to decide whether they're staying or retiring

Embarrassing half time shows. 2 years back to back with Kendric Lamar and Bad Rabbit. Couldn't understand either of them. This is not music and does not appeal to the masses. DUMB!!! NFL selling out to some political woke BS.

It was even worse when that cringy fraud sick F Collinsworth said "this is the best defensive performance in the SB that I've seen in a long time." The Seahawks D was great last night, the Eagles D was great in last year's SB against one of the greatest coaches and one of the greatest QB's of all time.

While I agree with your last comment comparing Lamar and Bad Bunny doesn't work. Lamar is a rapper who has been around for long enough to appeal to people over 30, while still appealing to younger fans. He was also in the middle of a huge beef with Drake when he got the SB gig so he was in the news. Bad Bunny is more famous internationally than in the US and most of his music isn't even done in English. Big difference. You are right though that there has been a huge shift in the direction of the SB halftime shows. I honestly can't even remember the last time they had an actual band with guitars and drums.

Yep. I'm happy for Darnold after the career he has had and he has really turned things around over the last two seasons. That being said, he played pretty bad last night and could have EASILY had 2 or 3 interceptions.
