Lamar is a rapper who has been around for long enough to appeal to people over 30, while still appealing to younger fans. He was also in the middle of a huge beef with Drake when he got the SB gig so he was in the news. Bad Bunny is more famous internationally than in the US and most of his music isn't even done in English. Big difference. You are right though that there has been a huge shift in the direction of the SB halftime shows. I honestly can't even remember the last time they had an actual band with guitars and drums.Funny if true

There is a video on YT of him being interviewed when he was in the league and he literally says he likes young dumb girls and the younger the better. He specifically says "High school girls ages 14-18 are the best."

Not seeing the Kendrick fame at all. But again it is the younger generation and it has a little more merit. But this Bad Rabbit guy is absolutely horrific in any form of entertainment or performance analytical perspectives. Holding crotch etc.

Only one of my kids even knew who Bad Bunny was and they said nobody around their age that they know listens to him.
February 9Feb 9 I turned off the halftime show. I thought it was a ridiculous choice. Did it anger me? Nope. Because I didn't watch it. If enough people tune out, maybe they'll get the message. If enough people don't tune out, then there's no message to be delivered.I'm usually too pissed the Eagles aren't in the game or too wrapped up in the Eagles second half to care about the entertainment.

February 9Feb 9 Basically what he posts here is that he's coached on teams that didn't prioritize drafting O line high.

A lot of fans are already extremely annoyed with the push for International games and to pull this to cater to International fans is a pretty big FU to the our sport. How do you get people to completely tune out? Play something for 20 minutes that they don't understand at all. I still don't understand the love for Kendrick. Clearly, a lot of people love him, but man his voice and his beats do nothing for me. Growing up in the 90s, my genres are all over the place, but 90s hip hop was one of my first loves. I'd say good rap died in the 2010s, which coincidentally is when mumble rap became a thing. I don't listen to many new artists at all. Sometimes a song will pop up that has a good beat, but for the most part, I have my NY playlists, WC playlist, down South playlist, lyricist playlist, boom bap playlist and so on. Bone Thugs N Harmony just released a new album (one of my fav groups and even they are hard to understand, but not because of mumbling) which is OK, but nothing like their OG albums. TI has a new song out that takes me back, pretty good banger for the gym.

February 9Feb 9 Something that I feel is under-acknowledged about the OL...and this take is based on subjective first-pass observation. Not all-22, not media takes, not PFF OL rankings or EPA BS.The 2024 OL was a perfect fit for this offense. Smash mouth road graders. And...come to think of it...that's less a "fit" for the offense and more the coaches adapting the offense to leverage its unique capabilities. In 2024, Mailata, Dickerson, Jurgens, Becton, and Lane were NOT, collectively, an elite pass protecting offensive line. 3/5 of them have been known to be somewhat vulnerable to speed, stunts, and high end pass rush. Another one, Jurgens, has been susceptible to the bull rush. My point is that this OL was so hallowed for how incredibly dominant on the ground...but they weren't quite as clean in pass protection as we give them credit for when we think of them as the perfect OL.2025...the sheer downhill explosion on the ground was gone (and Barkley had a hand in that too). But the pass protection was more or less fine. Hurts was sacked less in 2025 than 2024. The point here is that the OL wasn't quite as terrible as people think when evaluating the regression from 2024. The OL was as different as it was regressed. We all know Lurie (and Howie, and Siri) want a drop back, pass based offense. They all pivoted when they ended up with an OL that was unfathomably dominant at opening up holes on the ground...and built the entire offense around it. And it all fell apart when the OL couldn't do that anymore. Now that it's gone, they were tasked with either reconstructing that same OL for that same offense...or re-inventing themselves. I have to give them credit for the road we all know that they chose to take. Now, the OL needs to be rebuilt either way. But the interesting question is...how? Are we looking more at Dickerson and Becton types, or more mobile guys that are going to excel with kicking back in pass pro and more mobility on running plays?

February 9Feb 9 Streams could not be more manipulated if you tried. It's very easily done and it happens ALL the time. And Bad Bunny was picked exclusively because he appealed to a more international audience. It's not that difficult to figure out, the NFL has been aggressively expanding into foreign markets for years now. His show still sucked though. So did the All American one. At least Bad Bunny's show was nicer to look at besides an elderly Kid Rock stumbling his way through his own song.

He's popular. Like other artists listed in that chart. I personally don't listen to most of the music there. I watched because it was the halftime show and it was fine. People can certainly choose to do what they want.

We listen to what Spotify/Apple Music want us to listen to.I'm a Spotify guy. I have playlists of all genres. I'll add new songs to a playlist. They get BURIED. Shuffle isn't shuffle. I watched both shows and I was blown away at how bad the Kid Rock lip syncing was. But then I saw him come out and sing an acoustic set under his real name and was pretty blown away. I didn't understand what was going on. I thought it was a Garth Brooks/Chris Gaines thing. I didn't know it was his real name. I honestly feel like that was done on purpose. I think KR is doing his best to live a different life and this was his way of putting Kid Rock in his past. He didn't want to sing his old lyrics and that's why it was so incredible noticeable. The acoustic set showed me he has a really nice voice.I could be way off on that, but that's what I came away with.
February 9Feb 9 PHLY had a Vikings beat guy on who basically said the Vikings OL was bad in every aspect, didn't execute well, weren't prepared for various stunts and rushes, etc but tried to lessen the blow by saying "I guess it's hard to know how much a position coach is responsible for when the players are fail"
