I'd have rather Moorehead been replaced but he wasn't and this place has become like a microcosm of the internet where every issue no matter how small is treated with equal levels of outrage and whining.

So just being contrarian to go against the grain. Understood. There's a lot like that. I had a feeling it was that way

I’d like Moorehead gone, but we all have to admit we’re at an information deficit. The Eagles clearly value him.

My grudge against Moorehead is that I see him as an accessory to how uncreative the offense has become, BUT for all I know he's been lobbying for change unsuccessfully and/or keeping the WR room grumbling contained.

I just want Moorehead gone because it seems every single year this team struggles with the basics and never improves

Saying you wanted Moorehead gone is what it is. Most felt that way. Stamping feet and saying this is why Sirriani is terrible, Hurts is terrible and let me get my phone and call into WIP is a tantrum

Cut blocks??

Or cut rate depending on who is playing.

What has Moorehead done wrong?

He's Brad Daugherty's cousin who the Cavaliers drafted with the 76ers pick they received in the trade for Roy Hinson. And you call yourself a fan 😞

Basic what?

Probably posted already but still great to see

We've had issues running rubs against man coverage, and pre-snap procedure penalties are annoying. Given how much scramble drill and off schedule throws are in this offense, it doesn't look like the QB and the WRs are on the same page often (might be asking a lot there).

I agree with everything here and was not trying to say anything else. I am puzzled though that Patullo is still here. He's a PR nightmare, so why?

Absolutely...Patullo's presence defies logic.

What I don't understand...even though he is still here, the Patullo band-aid has been ripped off. He has been relieved as the OC and he has, essentially, been the guy to fall on the sword for the 2025 offense.

I agree it's bizarre they didn't just finish the job. Most will understandably put that on his longstanding relationship with Siri. I just think Siri has been so neutered that anyone who stays or goes is doing so because of Howie/Lurie.

I don't think he's definitely here when the dust settles. The guys that are definitely staying were said to be Singleton, Moorehead, Frazier and a bunch of the lower level guys. Patullo & Loeffler were both TBD

What would a trade for Kayvon Thibodeaux look like in terms of picks and cap implications?

What listening to that felt like

Yea I would say pre snap penalties and scramble drills are 2 very easily identifiable issues that have persisted while he's been here.

He's not that good, I wouldn't want to clog up the rotation with him there. But to answer your question I'm not sure. The inter division trades are always more tricky. If it was out of conference maybe like a 4 as a pure guess.

I mentioned this the other day, I would sign Linderbaum and move Jurgen’s back to right guard. Upgrades your C position and right guard if Jurgens is healthy and can get back to close to 2025 form. If Dickerson comes back then your interior is Dickerson, Linderbaum, and Jurgens. Stern becomes your no. 1 backup OL. Then draft OG and OT relatively high in the draft. That said i don’t see linderbaum coming here. I think he goes ravens or giants

I hate to say it but this free agency period and even the draft is leaving a lot to be desired on the o-line. There's some players of course but not all that many and no one really blows me away either. I sincerely hope we don't reach or take o-lineman just because it's our biggest need.

I am hoping Howie tries to search for an out of the box trade, maybe something similar to the Jason Peters deal. I haven't looked who may be available or that we could target yet.

On offense the only money I see is a tight end and not a top of the market guy. But they can’t go into draft with no tight ends at all.

I'm looking at the two Baltimore guys, I'm not paying what the Tampa player will get but with his former coach now being here I wonder if that moves him up our FA board.

Pitts doesn't block and probably will get paid quite handsomely, I don't think he's a fit but Howie does like flash and he can be a pretty big playmaker going into the second part of his career. I'm curious if he has interest.

The rational explanation is that Patullo is viewed by Howie and Lurie as only partly to blame. The players all still seem to support him and think he has been valuable. I don't think this is a Matt Patricia situation. I can see them thinking that he helps provide some consistency for Hurts and the WRs. Sirianni may hold on to some sort of hope that Patullo could resume the role if Mannion is one and done.

Hot routes have never been a priority, that you figure a WR coach would be pounding the table for...

This is kind of why I mentioned Linderbaum. Cause I’m not overly impressed with the offensive lineman in this draft and don’t want to just take one to take one. If one falls that they love then by all means. Linderbaum is one of the best centers in the league. Has been past couple of years. So if you can actually upgrade at center then move Jurgens and the belief is at right guard he is better than Tyler Steen then really you’ve upgraded two positions this off-season. If I’m gonna spend big money in free agency, I’m spending it on players who I think are elite or very good. Linderbaum fits that. I’d add linderbaum is still young at 25 years old.

I still think he stays because the offense should be better. Also the contract

I’ve said this before, some of this issue in of itself is his contract. If you look at his contract, he has $4 million guaranteed after 2026. He knows that and wants a new contract. I think some of this noise would be subdued if they gave him an extension. Wouldn’t do it as he’s 30 after this year. Do I think all of it? No. But I think a portion of this goes to the fact he knows he’s playing for an extension/new contract from somebody in 2027 and he needs to play at a high enough level to cash out on likely his last big payday.

I get what you're saying, and it's somewhat bad luck that the best o-lineman in free agency is at center. We already are paying big for Jurgens and I personally do not like Cam at guard. I wouldn't do that but I get what you are saying.

There were 26 False start calls on the Eagles. https://www.nflpenalties.com/team/philadelphia-eagles?year=2025&view=penalties 7 were on WRs. https://www.nflpenalties.com/team/philadelphia-eagles?year=2025&view=players AJ had 4 but so did Landon Dickerson and Fred Johnson. Mailata had 3. They were near the bottom of the League for Falst Starts but it doesn't seem like a WR coaching issue.
