If Howie still has that mojo, he can find anotherI don't think anyone thought Landon was a safe player to sign long-term. He's the opposite, one of the riskiest players they signed.

Especially considering Goedert's health.Prejudiced as I am, I like Martin Klein from Michigan a lot. Excellent blocker. Good hands. Good speed. 250 lbs. Top of Day 3 or maybe our 2nd Day 3rd round pick.
February 12Feb 12 76ers has struggled the last two games. Teams figured out that picking up Maxey at half court with pressure no one else can make plays. Embiid has got to stay healthy if they even have a chance.

Secondary ball handler is an important player and they traded him for peanuts.

I don't think GB does much either.Yes it does for me. It's not as if he just dropped off due to laziness, or the league caught up to him in anyway. His play diminished do to injury. But that's a fair point, you could look to trade him now if you are not comfortable with his demeanor plus injury history combined with cost of a new contract. I'd imagine you could easily get a 1st rounder plus. Not saying I want too just commenting on your assessment. I am personally nervous of his shoulders, they never said what it was exactly...Shanahan sure does.

He’s gonna have to become a better shooter.

But hes still got a very slow release and he is a stand still catch and shoot guy. He has a LOT of development to be a true star. His handle needs to tighten up. His finishing needs to get better. And his shooting needs development still. Thats speaking in general terms. There is exponentially more work to be done to improve in each of those things in a variety of ways. Its not a knock on VJ at all. It just goes to show how freaking stupid Morey is.

If this season ends in Morey and Nurse being fired then the season was a success. It’s badly needed for them to have any chance at getting over the hump. It’s not happening with those two in control.

February 12Feb 12 So being a bit bored I started looking at MLB farm system prospect rankings...TEX and PHI both have a SS as their top prospect. Aidan Miller for PHI (#10 overall) and Sebastian Walcott for TEX (#5 overall). I am not a baseball scout but after watching some video on both I think Miller is the better prospect, great speed and defense and appears to have a servicable bat. Walcott while rated higher looks to be all bat with good power, he is kind of taller for a SS though at 6'4, (Corey Seager is 6'4). Gonna to have to follow these guys through the next couple of years...would be really cool to see TEX and PHI in a WS but I don't think TEX is nearly as close as PHI right now.NFL draft, camps, and new season can't get here soon enough.

February 12Feb 12 Interesting wording on this post. Are the Eagles a "win now" team? Mesidor is 25 a a few months, 1 day after Jalen Carter turns 25. Ty Robinson turns 25 in May. Moro Ojomo turns 25 in August. There's no doubt that Mesidor is a good DE and he should be there at 23. Personally, I'm staying as far away from a 25 year old rookie as I can, but that's why I ask if the Eagles are a "win now" team. Would they be OK with an older player to get the most out of this team in a short window? I don't think the Eagles want to operate like that. I think they want to win every year, be it now, or years down the road.
