He said the coaches and players love AJ. Which the team has maintained for years despite what media and fans say about him. He described how the frustrations of the offense affected AJ and his effort, and that normally teammates would call BS on that and call it out, but they love and respect AJ. I think it's more explanation of AJ's mindset, he wants to be great and the frustration with the coaches got to him. We all saw how bad Patullo was. Hurts was yelling at him on the sidelines once, looked like he had no faith in him all season. The bad coaching affects everyone. I'm interested to see how the new coaches do with everyone. With Kelce, we always have to keep in mind that he doesn't criticize the coaches or front office. Kelce passionately defended Patullo on ESPN and blamed the players. He has always been a company man. He defended Chip Kelly. He and Mathis ripped the fans for being upset at at 4 win season under Reid and wanting them to run the ball more. He defends the team and front office always, and has often blamed players.

It seems he's always on the organization's side even though he isn’t on their payroll (or is he ). I don't think he would say it without the eagles being cool with it, especially if they ARE trying to trade him. This makes me think they aren't so they don't care what's said that could lower trade value/tinfoilhatWell you make a good point. It wouldn't be team sanctioned or coming from them if they were trying to trade him. One narrative last week was that AJ Brown was saying the right things because the team and/or his agent told him what to say to not lower his trade value. Kelce ripping his effort would lower his trade value, so that wouldn't make sense coming from the team.I think Kelce just always shares his opinions, wears his heart on his sleeve.

I also don't care that NE "barely" beat the teams they faced in the playoffs, they still won. You bring up how NE looked bad and struggled vs the Texans and Denver, yet fail to acknowledge that both defenses were elite this past season. They made a lot of teams and QB's look bad all year, not to mention there was bad weather in both games. I don't care that we won by blowouts and they scraped by, a win is a win imo.Lasty, if NE had beaten Seattle, no one would mention that they had an easy schedule. That nonsense is just used to discredit their success and to help fans cope since their team didn't make it to the Super Bowl. The 1999 Rams, known as "the greatest show on turf," had a cupcake schedule when they won it all.edit. No, I don't think that just because they had the most wins, that they were the best team. The Lions had the most wins last season, the #1 seed, and many viewed them as the best team even with the injuries, but what happened come playoff time? Credit to Seattle, they won it all, but just because they did, doesn't mean I have to believe they were the best team, they're just undeniably the champs.First I didn’t give you just the most wins with Seattle. I gave you multiple different statistics and analytics proving how good Seattle was. Also there analytics proving how bad Drake Maye and patriots were during the playoffs. So saying just wins wasn’t my only justification for Seattle nor was it for why the rams were the second best. I gave you more than just that.Let’s go with another major analytic tool to add to the others, since 1978 per ESPN (so 48 years of football) with DVOA the Seahawks had a top 10 for the regular seasons. So over the last 48 years and all those teams over that time they were top 10 (Seattle and rams were top 2 in DVOA this year so i could conclude the analytics back up what I’d say when saying the rams/seahawks felt like the two best teams). They according to espn were 12th in defensive DVOA since 1978 and special teams was 24th since 1978. So they were 2nd in ppg, 1st in points allow, most wins, one of the top SOS of all playoff teams (believe 4th out of 14 teams in playoffs; 8th in the entire nfl) and a top 3 strength of victory plus the DVOA analytics i just gave you. Kind of feels like a cope to just simply not wanting to admit Seattle was the best team this year, when the analytics historically also back it up and what they accomplished.Secondly if the lions would’ve won the whole thing with the many injuries on defense they had, I’d have considered them the best team. Also there were a lot of people that said their injuries on defense would catch up to them and be their downfall so they weren’t the same team at years end with injuries so weren’t considered the best. So if they withstood all them and still managed to hold the trophy in then do have said they were the best team based off what they did and overcame that.Third, the 99 Rams also set historic records for offense. they scored more points in a 16 game schedule than the 2025 rams who led the league in points this year with 17 games. Even with the cupcake schedule did the New England Patriots do that? they were still the 8th offense in the league while facing 0 top 10 defense in ppg til wild card round. The only thing I see is New England when they finally had to play the best team (Seattle), they faced all year managed to get embarrassed on offense repeatedly and lost a game by 16 which frankly garbage time made it be that close. I’d add New England’s offense and quarterback play in the 2025 postseason was one of if not the worst in the last 25 years. The analytics bare this out. they weren’t just bad in the Super Bowl and didn’t get it done. Their offense was bad enough to have more turnovers than TD and maye’s analytics were considered to be one of the worst playoff analytics QB in quarter century. This isn’t New England just didn’t play well in the Super Bowl. I can’t say they are second best team when their offense/QB was historically bad this postseason and rams DVOA and analytics favored the rams as the better team as well.
February 12Feb 12 Strong defense and effective running game win championship. The Seahawks proved that. Their Walker had a strong showing thru the season and in playoff run. Our team also has these elements, and used them to win SB last season. If they can keep these going, next season, a long run in playoff to be expected.

Would hate to see him go in the division, however I get the feelings we're going to see both Sonny Styles and Caleb Downs in the NFCE.I'm always the contrarian, but I don't see a great prospect there. Downs is very good/excellent near the LOS but I don't see him making much happen downfield and don't see ball-hawking skills that I want from an elite safety prospect. He's listed at 6'0 -- will he actually be shorter than 6 feet tall when measured at the Combine? We'll see. I'm not always a Combine guy but it will be interesting to see if he tests. I'd want to evaluate how fast and fluid he is in motion, and whether he can cover ground on downfield throws. It's getting to the point you have to evaluate using GPS data because a lot of these prospects decide they won't do drills at the Combine -- only their pro day.

If at any time we had done that growing up playing sports, we would have had a coach in our grill, spitting mad and not seen the field until the attitude changed. Instead of doing that, they changed the offense to give him more targets and it affected the team. Sirianni finally got in his face in the last game but it was too late. Dogging it is the cardinal sin in sports and if a guy is dogging it, he needs to sit on the bench.I understand that the offense sucked and WR is dependent on so many other players/scheme but you can't let that affect your play on the field. Control what you can control. And you can always control your focus, attitude and effort on the field. Obviously, AJ is extremely talented and you would love to have him 100% on your team. Ultimately, I think the cap hit and inability to replace him will mean AJ is on the team this year. If he is, then he needs to see a sports psychologist to change that attitude and some damn accountability from thr coaching staff. No more coddling because he is a star. That filters down to the rest of team.

Their top 2 both have question marks that make it a risk to commit the amount of money to. I'm guessing only 2 of the 3 get 2nd contracts here. The player with the least amount to risk with a new contract is Moro Ojomo. You'll never question his maturity, his desire to stay in shape or anything else. He's as stand up of a guy as they come and he's incredibly smart. Moro Ojomo type players are what you want.Moro Ojomo played 66% of the snaps and had 38 tackles, 6 sacks and 12 QB Hits.Jalen Carter played 84% of the snaps and had 33 tackles, 3 sacks and 12 QB Hits.Jordan Davis played 61% of the snaps and had 34 tackles, 4.5 sacks and 6 QB Hits.In no way am I saying Ojomo is Jalen Carter. Trade for Ojomo so they control his extension rather than bidding in 26?Is there a true 3-4 team who would give up a chunk to have Davis anchor their odd man front? It's going to be interesting and we're going to see a great player leave. Jalen Carter is so fun to watch. I love what Davis brings to the locker room and he dedicated himself to improving. Ojomo is just a damn good player. Lots to look out for moving forward.I question whether they will be able to keep 2 out of 3. Carter and Davis both will demand a premium. The issue with Ojomo is that his market value may be inflated because he is playing next to Carter and to some extent Davis. Carter has the most upside and is a difference maker at the position. How’s that compare easiest and easiest since 2000 like new england? Add on of all playoff teams they had the 5th hardest schedule and the second highest strength of victory. New England was easiest schedule in the league, easiest strength of schedule of all playoff teams, weakest strength of victory of all Playoff teams and overall 2nd weakest strength of victory in nfl. Massive difference.I’d add browns had as many victories against playoff team as NE did during regular season… 2. Also browns had more victories against teams over .500 than New England did in the regular season… Point out of top 3 seeds in both the nfc and afc of Denver, New England, jags, Seattle, bears, jags, eagles… seahawks had the hardest strength of schedule and highest strength of victory of any of those teams per espn. Also from espn per DVOAIt (Seattle) also played the eighth-toughest schedule in the league by DVOA, and its three losses came by a combined nine points.
