Moss would be a nice throw in (as I’m not expecting more than 2nd for AJ anyway). Get a cheap CB2 for a year, who’d likely would be less stressed here than in the C1 scheme across from Surtain. One base covered going into the draft… another uncovered. Of course, the AJ stuff really only makes sense (capwise) post-June 1 so the timing is weird.

Under contract and old and oft injured

We need Lane's heir. Oline has always been high priority. Getting a TE in the first round would be crazy

Aside from Methusala (LJ) the OL starters avg age is around 27. Is this old? At least 3 of them played thru injuries. Our primary backups were older than they were.

Is Cameron Williams completely out of the question as a future OT?

We had 6 rookie OL in total under contract in 2025. Do you see any future for any of them?

Were 26 other NFL teams crazy to picka TE in the 1st round this century?

Lane is old

Don't know

I hope so but I'm worried about the new Oline coach

Yes

Feels like they had to settle there for whatever reason

Then why not just keep Loefler?

Wendy’s won’t be around in 10-15 years based on their current model. Tired menu, dated equipment in dire need of replacement, workers who appear quite unmotivated. Some of their franchise locations need a complete tear down rather than a rebuild.

Reminds me of the movie I watched 2 nights ago....Hidden Figures.

Good film. True story.

I would say at each step of the coaching hire the Eagles didn't chose a guy I had at the top of my list. I don't think it means much but I'll definitely admit that

Beats me. Replacing a guy with an internal promotion while keeping the old guy still employed is kinda bizarre.

Either Hurts didn't like Loeffler or the Eagles didn't like him in that role but liked other things he brought to the table.

You guys are ridiculous with that. Whatever you think of Hurts there are guys taking jobs all over and not just with teams with top QBs.

So not yet. Got it

I would think they will bring in a veteran with experience for the staff at some point, but I thought that last year. A lot of guys doing things for the first time on this staff.

EJ Smith thinks this could be an indicator they've decided not to fully embrace the Shanahan offense and are still going to do the Sirianni offense just with some Shanahan elements, but I doubt it. It's not like Frazier has some lengthy history with Sirianni.

Pizza Hut and Wendy’s buffets were nice HS spots when you had no $ and were always hungry.

To play devils advocate, you could speculate Jalen Hurts isn't excited to work with certain coaches as well. They already have Scott Loeffler under contract and in the building. To replace him with no real apparent reason could point to Hurts just likes Frazier better than Loeffler.

No idea what happened with Greg Olson though. Maybe he's going back to the Rams for their OC job or some other role under McVay.

I was hoping for Bree Olson.

I completely forgot about a Wendy's buffet. But wasnt that just a salad bar? Or was there other food on it?

They had pasta which was a good filler.

A fast food joint - Wendy's - actually had a Salad Bar and Pasta Bar??!! Dang, never knew that. I think I've been there like 3x in 25 years, only for Burgers though. Through the Drive Thru.

Ok time for dinner at my house! Cooked some thin cut Pork Chops, Yellow Rice, and have some Black Beans to add to the rice. thumbsup

Quick poll, who here eats fast food at major fast food chains? I can't tell you the last time I went to any of the major brands. I tried Raising Cane's and Dave's Hot Chicken once each when they moved in, but it was to try it. I did and no reason to go back. If I'm on the road for work, I try my best to just pack protein options for the car.

I might get food to go 3x a month. Usually I'll go with a local pizza shop, local cheesesteak shop and a stand at a local market.

Growing up in the 80s our family did pizza night on Friday nights. McDonald's was always a treat and sometimes even that was just for the fries. We did birthday parties at McDonalds. Pizza Hut was "fancy" pizza for us once in a blue moon or when we went to a friends house, also where our youth teams would eat after a big game. We only got Wendy's, Arby's or Hardees when we were traveling.

I get it a bunch unfortunately. It fits in to my schedule. And although the meal prep is always a smarter option, its not the option I choose.

Lately, Ive mixed in a bunch more panera salads to cut back on the fried stuff from other places. LOVE their asian sesame chicken salad. Occasionally Ill get a tuna sandwich, or the cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich instead.

How many cooks are they going to add?

I was completely out on fast food for like 15 years, as the prices compared to a bar were about the same. The kids like the chik filet nowadays, so I usually get a chicken sanmich.
