Buffalo would probably work well or another team with a strong veteran QB presence, but I don’t know if Maye in New England is cut out to deal with him after he choked in the Super Bowl

For the record… I’d like to keep AJ for another year. It looks like the whole offense could get blown up after next season anyway

Lack of effort is a lot for me to turn a blind eye to. The Eagles won't do anything until after the draft, as Brown would need to be a post-June 1 trade. After June 1, if a team offered up a 1st round pick in 2027 (which is supposedly a stronger draft that this one) the Eagles would likely do a deal -- if Brown doesn't want to be in Philly.

Same QB, same head coach. It's a lot to expect AJ Brown to suddenly be 100% committed and on board because they've hired a 33-year-old first time OC to solve all of his problems for him.

Did anyone else read a book on the sidelines? Did anyone else constantly whine on social media? Did anyone else go on podcasts complaining about the offense being bad vs giving constructive criticism of the offense to the media?

If you are going to publicly keep claiming how unhappy you are, not offer anything besides "give me the ball more" and then on top of that have it carry over onto the field with lack of effort, yea, he's going to be under a microscope.

There’s nothing for Jalen to do. His contract is structured as if he already restructured. It’s why we can afford so many highly paid players as it is.

Because it’s the boy who cried wolf. AJ made this all way bigger than he needed to so I don’t feel bad if he’s under a microscope after the fact. He should be held accountable for what he created.

There’s also ways to go about complaining about the offense. Mailata complained nearly every week but said players need to execute or do better getting to the line. DeVonta Smith complained but said he and others need to execute and get on the same page. AJ Brown is the guy who played Madden on a stream, forced the ball to himself while giving Smith 0 targets while complaining about the offense. He doesn’t say the team needs to be better or he needs to be better, it’s always he needs the ball more. Thats the difference.

Not to mention that after all that complaining about "not being used”, he had some pretty crucial drops in some key points of some big games. Seemed like it happened quite frequently this year actually.

But what if we took his signing bonus and converted it into a roster bonus.  

Seriously, we have to keep re-litigating the fact that AJ Brown was a total pain in the arse and none of his teenager level whining made any positive impact whatsoever, and on top of that he had critical drops and quit on numerous routes that otherwise would have been touchdowns?

He embarrassed himself this season and was an overall negative to the team. Rock Ya Sin ate his lunch for gods sake.
