Any idea what Bradley Chubb might cost? 8.5 sacks on a bad MIA defense last season coming off an ACL… would seem to be a better version of the Z.Smith play.

Somewhere in the teens. He’s still 29 though so he’s probably looking for a three year deal

He was my preference over Phillips last year anyway.

Count me out on Sadiq round 1. A little bit of a looks like Tarzan plays like Jane to me. He is not in the same class of Loveland or Warren in the receiving dept.

Martin Klein will be a star in the pros and projects as a Day 3 pick.

Phillips is important to keep because without him suddenly Edge becomes just as big of a need as OL and I think the Eagles will want to be heading into the draft being able to focus on OL. But let's be real, Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt is a wholly unserious starting Edge pairing for a team with SB aspirations. As we saw in 2025 when the pass rush from that group flat out sucked until the midway point.

Ok, I'll read into him. I do like Isaiah Likely, but someone who is flying under the radar a bit is Charlie Kolar from Baltimore. Not as the #1, but a nice well rounded TE to add to the room. I can't see him breaking any major bank either.

Vic loves Phillips, I'd assume we try hard for the extension. Our defense did take another step once he came in and is a great guy for the locker room. He is now a couple years away from his injuries. Going into the off-season completely healthy he should be in for a pretty big season. Oweh could be a fall back option. There's other decent options like Mafe, Chaisson, Chubb, Pate, Ebikete... But I'm with you, we need a high end DE. I prefer a high end S as well which is not Blankenship, unfortunately. A better #2 CB than Jackson as well, those three pieces should push us to be in competition as the #1 defense. Not far off now but there is a few missing pieces. Not sure if Howie thinks we are good enough with a low end CB Jackson type corner, Blankenship and a Phillips extension though, which isn't the end of the world at all. But after seeing what Emmanwori did for the Seahawks, that's what I want. Maybe I'm being greedy here.

Maybe. I don’t know what people saw last year that couldn’t easily be upgraded.

And opportunity cost is far too high. Too many guys that need extensions on D

Overpay for Phillips and underpay for Reed. JMO.

I've said it a hundred times, please bring back Nakobe. 🙏😬🥰

Wonder how long until Manion will have his initial playbook put together to install his offense and how much of that offense is now being built with his staff.

So, the complete opposite to Patullo then

Easily how?

If AJ stays then I think he is going to want a new contract to get a bump in pay. I think that would be a mistake and hope Eagles wouldn't do that. Any new WR contract should be going to DeVonta.

And how much is Sirianni part of that process if at all?

It’s being reported as very reasonable. #9 ranked in yards in ’26, 16th highest paid rb with this contract. It’s more than I wanted them to pay but he was solid this last year and is only 26 yr old. I guess we’ll see.

Edit, from NFLs website:

Williams rushed for 1,201 yards and 11 TDs -- doubling his career rushing TD total -- with a career-high 4.8 yards per carry. He also added 35 catches for 137 yards and two more scores, continuing to be a sure-handed outlet as he has his entire career.

His output provided the Cowboys with a balanced offensive attack the team hadn't enjoyed for several years, making him a valuable piece to lock down heading into 2026.

Still only a few months away from his 26th birthday, Williams comes at a reasonable bargain for Dallas. His $8 million annual average salary places him tied for 16th with the Bears' D'Andre Swift among running backs -- just above former Cowboy Tony Pollard's $7.3 million with the Titans.

Can't laugh, not a bad deal for a solid back.

It’s a fair deal for Williams. If he keeps playing like he did last year it’s a steal. He’s still young but have to worry about his injury history. He’s also a bit unproven as last year was his breakout year and the others weren’t great.

It is the correct time in the cycle to bring CJGJ back.
