The women’s team has fallen closer to the caliber of the also-rans than they are to Team USA. A major institutional change is required there.As far as the men’s team, people need to start seeing Connor McDavid for what he isn’t. The guy has demonstrated repeatedly he lacks the clutch bone and today he was hanging around with Nancy Guthrie instead of leading his team.This was HIS team and today was HIS failure. He’s supposed to be the best player in the world and hasn’t won anything.

February 22Feb 22 Man we need a reset in this country. You'd think winning a gold medal in hockey against Canada would be something we can all celebrate and bring us together. Social media (which I hope doesn't represent the majority of our country) is a mess. Winning the gold has seemed to cause MORE division. We need to be better. I just watched the Miracle documentary last night with my dad and there were a lot of talking points of how much turmoil was going on during that time and that the 1980 team brought the country together. The closing line of the documentary was Mike Aruzioni (I think it was him), saying "right now we need another 1980". I couldn't agree more, and sadly, today has proven a gold 46 years later wasn't it.
