Take that @Eagles

Smart. They know Patullo will be an OC in the UFL in 2027 so they’re getting ahead of things.

The first, most recent one was Milton Williams. People right now are thinking about the high picks like Mitchell, DeJean, Davis, Carter and Dean, but don't forget about Ojomo who should be in the same position as Milton Williams was after this season.

While I like Otten, he’s likely going to command more money than DG.

As he should. He's only 26 and has been a LOT more healthy

That's all I'm saying. In no way am I suggesting that Howie puts Jalen Carter on the block. But, if Dallas was dumb enough to overpay for Quinnen Williams, I'd put money on a team doing the same for Carter.

Yup, I got your point. If someone makes a mini Herschel Walker trade offer you have to consider it. You weren't advocating to move him.

Otton makes so much sense given he has blocking ability, familiarity with Grizzard and Howie himself said he failed to put enough emphasis on it this season.

If the Eagles plan to play the comp pick game, especially if Phillips gets an outrageous number, maybe we’re looking at cut candidates. My prediction is Dawson Knox.

Ugh. I'd rather keep DG.

First quote to me reads Jordan Davis vs. Moro Ojomo, Nolan Smith vs. Jalyx Hunt

Will be interesting to see if they keep Phillips if that’s essentially it until the draft in terms of notable free agency moves.

Weird to embargo it when they’re meeting the media today. Maybe a lot of the local media weren’t able to travel to Indy this year.

McLane said the secret meeting was for print beat writers only. So they told ESP to get bent.

No recorders or cameras either. I'm guessing they wanted to put their perspective on all the news that's happened so far.

This should be S.O.P.

That is incredibly weird.

If closed-door meetings mean that ESP is frozen out, it's worth it.

ESP had a lot of quotes from it he was dropping this morning. I believe he was part of it. I think he writes for the WIP site still.

That was a very avoidable situation by the Eagles though. They should have extended Milton when he was available. Could have gotten him for much less than he signed with the Patriots for qfter his breakout year

I think Mitchell is the player that they wouldn't listen to for an offer

I didn't know Mannion was able to sell himself so much to Nick that Nick actually changed his process. Also interesting how the more he looked into the Shanahan scheme the more he wanted it here

Sirianni said they didn't go into the OC process fixated on the Shanahan scheme as "We have to have this scheme" but they went in really interested in exploring it and learning from those who coach it. And he said they finished the process being pretty bullish on it and really wanting it for their team.

Also became really interested in Mannion once they heard a lot of people in league circles talk him up.

Chasing the Shanahan scheme has always felt antithetical to the Eagles way of thinking. "If you start doing what everyone else is doing, you’re already too late”

Sirianni said he believes in the modern NFL the best way to run the ball is having a Shanahan style scheme, marrying the run and the pass, and it seems they believe very strongly about this is the scheme they need to run the ball effectively going forward.

Well they have been chasing Vic's scheme for some years now and it ended up working out ultimately.

I don't want to trade a good backup QB that we have in place especially when we are limited cap wise.

Maybe if it was a 2027 second round pick with incentives that could push it up to a 1st I would do it.

One idea I can’t get out of my head is the Raiders being players for AJ Brown. Think Mendoza is gonna need A LOT of help before he figures it out in the NFL.

Let’s say the Raiders offer Maxx Crosby for AJ and a 2. We running to accept that?
