The starting TE position needs a multi year solution now; last season with oft injured Goedert and Calcaterra was a detriment to the performance, let alone the "ole" blocking from the position. Being loyal is nice, but let's be real, we should be expecting better than hoping Calcaterra can maintain a block for half a second

That Roob!

In today's article he begins with: "Nick Sirianni? He’s going into his 18th year as an NFL head coach"

Ah, No.

Ah, No.

obviously he just meant "an NFL coach."

Some potential Eagles international game options:

Why should they have? Ojomo was playing at the same level as him in the 2nd half of the 2024 season. IMO, Ojomo out-played him in 2025. Williams now has 15 career sacks in 5 NFL seasons.

Because I think it was pretty clearly by the end of Milton's 3rd season that he was a quality player and wpuld have been a smart one to jump on and grt signed to a team friendly deal at that time before their value only grew.

You would think they have an idea of what his market looks like already.

Sorry, he's right. It's now 2039.

I said this during the season, but steen is fine if guys like Jurgens, Dickerson, mailata play at the level we’ve seen in years past and lane is healthy. He’s not great but he also isn’t awful.

Did Dombrowski finally get a RH cleanup hitter with some pop?

For being such a royal d-head he does make some good points from time to time. Definitely not afraid to ruffle feathers.

Really a pointless trade. I know they did it when McKee was hurt, but couldn't they just sign a street FA for a few weeks?

I am fine with them having 3 QBs and Howell is decent enough to be a long-term back up. It was a trade of a 5th and 7th for Howell and a 6th. I think that's like a 6th round pick for a competent back up. It's a low cost investment.

I have some bad news. Also, the Flyers still don't have a goalie or a top line center.

This point was spot on by him. It was always BS with healthy and safety. Especially when you added more kickoffs in which is more dangerous. NFL wanted more returns. They’ll say on average less concussions per kickoff due to new rule. However the issue with that is the overall number of concussions with more kickoffs and more opportunities could still be a higher number. Even if new kickoff rules are "safer”

But at least the Sixers got to the ECF? unsure

Pretty sure Howell is a UFA for 2026. Can't imagine it would cost much to bring him back if the Eagles choose to trade McKee, but I also don't think the trade market for McKee would justify a trade. I'm skeptical he'd bring more than a 4th round value and at that return the Eagles are better off keeping him for one more year.

Aaron Donald was generational. Jalen Carter isn't even Fletcher Cox at this point and Fletcher Cox wasn't generational. When Carter is on, it's the most fun thing to watch. I LOVE nasty DT play. Violent, aggressive and mean play from your IDL is freaking awesome. He just hasn't given it to us game in and game out yet. Maybe the light will go on for him like it did for Jordan Davis last year. Let's hope it does.

Fletcher looks better if there was no Donald. Donald made a lot of good to great DTs look ok to good

He doesn't say "sometimes your BS meter goes up" though. He actually said "we don't like it. Which is ok." Maybe there's more video with him saying the BS meter goes up?

Believe there is if you watch his entire presser

I get that, but he should have said as much. He writes for a living.
