What established offensive mind is going to come here with KP still being here?

He needs to keep his ego aside and give full reigns of the offence to the new OC. He can focus on motivational quotes and the lunch menu

I was about to stay, both the reports and the statement seem like he's coming back in a different role

Someone please send proper smoke signals when Patullo is canned. I lay low in the offseason.

I just farted.

This presser is an all timer by the ravens owner

Honestly would have preferred to hear about more of an offensive staff overhaul than just removing the OC title from Patullo. Sounds like Nick is going to be just as involved as he always has been and they just will have a new guy calling plays. It will be an improvement, but more of a half measure.

It's awesome that we win the owl last year but really Siri should have been sent packing after the 23 collapse, here we are again

I wouldn't go that far. This happened MUCH faster than after 2023. I think it depends on who they hire, and how much control Howie makes Nick surrender to the new OC. If they want someone with real experience (Kingsbury, Daboll, Monken), then those guys will want a lot of their own people. As we discussed earlier, I think the only guy who is untouchable for Jeff and Howie is Stout.

I think you're reading too much into it. This is Nick getting to save face. And I ultimately don't think Patullo will be on the staff. The rest will likely be up to the replacement and my money is still on Kafka.

Patullo is a nice CEO type of HC for Pittsburgh to replace Tomlin with. Its happening.

I hope this decision was made weeks ago and Howie has already been in contact with several prospects since last week.

Yup...this announcement clearly allows flexibility and an extension of time for everything else to be played out.

11 offensive coordinator candidates for Eagles to consider

The Eagles have moved on from Kevin Patullo as their offensive coordinator. Here are some candidates to replace him.

WIP hosts will all be sad since it wasnt Parullo's fault and it's all because Jalen cant throw anything other than hitchs and go balls.

Just seems like there's too much messaging and clarification out there that Patullo isn't even fired. In the last 15 mins it seems every national reporter and beat writer put out all the same thing which clearly came from the Eagles. The fact they can't even just fire him and move on in a clean break like every other team in the league doesn't give me much hope the plan is to do anything more than replace the OC. We'll see.

I doubt he stays......Nick would have thrown that in there immediately. Bye bye Patullo.

This guy amd Harbaugh must have hated each other at this point.
