Greenard is coming off late season shoulder injury and only had 3 sacks compared to Chubbs 8.5.Chubb would be fine, he's about to be 30. I think Greenard is better than any of these guys against the run too. That shoulder needs to check out as well.

All the large deals are already minimum salary.

Hunt showed more promise, but isn't that much bigger either.

Throw them a 3rd if you must, F it.The only issue is he's going to be 29 in May. Phillips is 26.Maybe the comp pick. I wouldn't give up #68 for him
Wednesday at 02:20 PM5 days My guess is someone like DJ Wonnum or AJ Epenesa in FA and a draft pick in the RD2-RD3 range to address EDGE.

Wednesday at 02:31 PM5 days So, here are some quick thoughts after a busy evening:Woolen: I'm a big fan of this signing, especially on a 1 year deal. I think we all agree the talent is there - he might be one of the 5 most physically gifted CBs in the league. Yes, the knucklehead factor is huge, and I'd like it more if CP were still here to work with him. But he's a massive upgrade at CB2 over Adoree (who was serviceable after a rough start), and the upside potential is off the charts. Hopefully he's motivated to ball out to get paid next offseason. He's exceptional in man coverage and we played man at the 3rd highest rate in the NFL. Low risk/commitment, potential for high reward. Mundt: Yeah, I'll take it. I'd prefer we find a TE that can block and catch, but if we're going to have a blocking specialist, Mundt fits the bill. He and Latu together on the field could really work.Calcaterra: I just hope it's no guaranteed money so we can cut him at the end of camp. I know he's an OK receiving TE, but just...why?Goedert: Little surprised we took the cap hit - guess DG wants to test the market. DG will go see his market, maybe he comes back when he finds out there's not a big deal out there.Crosby: First off, what an absolute scumbag move by the Ravens. Howie I am sure is in there, but the Raiders have the cap space to keep him and not sure they want to just turn around and take a much lesser package. My dream scenario from here: Chubb, Njoku/Goedert and a safety. We lost OL depth with Toth leaving, but they might be higher on Kendall and Lampkin than we know. And Hinton and Williams at tackle.

Looks like he dealt with a hamstring and knee injury. Would probably fit right in.

Doesn't bother me since it's such a small commitment. Assume a $1,215,000 min salary and max void years, and the $12mm would be a 2026 cap hit of $3.372mm.I was wondering if its worth doing void yrs on a 1 yr deal. Seems like just punting the cap hit to 27

Wednesday at 02:57 PM5 days Best option to me is to sign a vet and draft one in a supposedly deep edge class. They had Sweat at edge when they dominated in the SB they don't need to go nuts.Sign Brisker and draft another safety. Sign Njoku and draft one in RD 2-3Keep Fred as swing TDraft OG in the first 3 roundsAgain, solid moves that don't eliminate the 3rd round comp pick but gives them a very solid team possibility better than last year.
