I dont know what the deal is with Mundt being known basically as just a blocking TE. Is he not quick enough to get open? Does he have poor hands? Anyway, I was happily surprised by how he looks in these highlights. Doesnt seem like someone who just cant move well enough.

Nothing to worry about, but his agents are going to want a new deal. At a minimum, they would start to press the issue after 2027 because he's not going into a lame duck year in 2028 with no guarantees. Also with his age, they are going to want another bite at the apple before he turns 30.

Calcaterra is supposedly a receiving TE who can't block.

Mundt is supposedly a blocking TE who isn't a receiving threat.

But compare their receiving stats. Not that Mundt is that impressive but shows that Calc didn't do much.

I think that's why they will definitely move on from AJ after next season. I think the will want to extend Devonta's contract. You have to wonder if Q or Cooper will want to agree to an early extension given what the FA market looks like. The other big potential contract issue is Hurts's. Let's say the team is marginally better but does not get to the Super Bowl. Are the Eagles going to look to move on from him after the 2027 season or will they want to commit to a big contract when it's not clear he can continue to be the best option at QB.

Cooper isn't going to have the 5th year option, so it's not really "early" for him to agree to an extension when he only has 1 year left. I kind of expect them to do both Mitchell and Cooper at the same time to avoid any drama.

I do the swipe to text on my phone. Its predictive, and often not all that good but its the quickest and thats what I do.

I dictate all of my posts to my secretary. She sends them back to me to proofread. If they are OK, I will have her type it up on linen classic stock letter paper to mail first class to the server. It's the only way to ensure accuracy.
