Other crappy players to play in pipsqueak FCS schools

Jerry Rice - Mississippi Valley State
Marques Colston - Hofstra
Jarred Allen - Idaho State
Cortland Finnegan - Samford
Robert Mathis - Alabama A&M
Joe Flacco - Delaware
Michael Strahan - Texas Southern

T.O. - Chattanooga
Moss - Marshall

Brian Westbrook

Cooper Kupp
Kurt Warner

Some other team can bet on him being a hall of famer then. I would make that bet if he didnt stink, unlike those other guys.

I don’t usually get personal on here, but your post hit me. I’ve been where you are. I’ve had a couple suicide attempts in my past and spent time in inpatient treatment afterward. I’m still in therap

its being reported that Miles Garrett is not going to attend off season work-outs for the Browns....Something to keep an eye on ?

Also Kyle Pitts finally signed his franchise tag with the Falcons, so there's that

He usually doesn't show up to voluntary work outs

This draft is really weak in the top-50. The general opinion I've seen is that there will be day-2 talent available on day-3, but the top of the board is meh. There are nice players after the top 10-12, but not really worth the 23rd pick.

My current thinking is to get out of the first round. Move into the sweet spot in terms of value and harvest some 2027 picks.

Wouldn't we be looking at OTs differently now because we have a new scheme?

I feel differently about the strategy.

Defense is better overall in this class but the value for offensive players appears to be in the day 2 to early day 3 range.

So I wouldn't pass on a nice defender for a tier C OL in round 1. And Id take a chance on Lance or Hurst on day 2 over Boston in round 1 at WR.

Id be taking offense in the mid rounds.

I think the value on offense is probably in the 50-80 range. I’d consider that early. TE is deeper than all the other offensive positions, so I’d stretch that a few rounds for TE.

Hopefully a QB tempts someone to fork over a future first rounder.

No, I think Proctor will definitely be. Big time program, top recruit, very good workouts, flashed elite potential and dominance. Howie always talks about "Tools in his body" and that guy is loaded with them. Has a ton of potential and upside. He fits the bill of things Howie chases.

Like Proctor a lot. He started at Alabama at age 18, 19, 20. Won't turn 21 until June. Had a better 2024 than 25 but lost weight for the Combine and did very well. I would run to the podium if he was around at pick 23. Teams these days draft 5th and 6th year guys at 24-25. Proctor is the opposite.

There is 0.00% Howie walks away with a first round WR with Lomu still on the board and Freeling available only 3 picks away.

Lomu has only played LT.

Yeah I'm thinking Howie does the same. Could be an all world Guard as well. Reminds me of Larry Allen.

Dude squats over 815 pounds and bench presses 535

Would be perfect for us back in the Juan Castillo OL days.

Why don't you like him?

Cashius Howell was Fran's Edge16.

He's just not a scheme fit. He doesn't move well enough for an OZ team.

He'll fit fine. People are going a little overboard with the scheme fit stuff with the new run system. Just get the best players and figure it out.

There may be no more important position to consider scheme fit than OL.

Found her source, knowing that he and AJ text and talk constantly throughout the season.

😲. Surprising you didn't include the guy for whom the award is named for best offensive player in FCS level football.

Walter Payton - Jackson State.

Caleb Banks has got to be one of the hardest players to evaluate this year of the days 1-2 guys. Elite athletic and size profile. Multiple foot surgeries. Dominant senior bowl. God awful tackling, especially for the biggest man on the field. Good luck scouts.

Her husband is an Eagles fan so if she’s having an affair this would be odd. Would also be stupid to be with a public figure out in the open where you could get caught. I don’t really care though.

Bottom of the article

The coach told Page Six Tuesday, "These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. This doesn’t deserve any further response.”

And Russini told us, "The photos don’t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues.”

Steven Ginsberg, executive editor of the Athletic, said: "These photos are misleading and lack essential context. These were public interactions in front of many people. Dianna is a premier journalist covering the NFL and we’re proud to have her at the Athletic.”

At least it wasn't the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert.
