April 9, 20214 yr I'm ordering from the local texan 'greek' restaurant, asking for authentic Oshkosh B'Gosh.
April 12, 20214 yr @HazletonEagle I'm coming up on 2 weeks of the injury (Wednesday). After two days of trying "normal" activity, I've been resting it. Schmoopie ordered me a brace that arrived a week after it happened. That has been very helpful to get me back to moving around and doing work on the house. While I have been trying to rest and ice it, s*** needs to get done, so its been a balance. Anyway, yesterday has been the first day that there has not been pain nor "achiness", for lack of a better word. Today more of the same. So correct me if I am wrong here.... I'm going to go 2-4 more weeks of the same routine. Ice, wear a brace that limits movement, advil for inflammation, etc. Then after that I'm thinking of a support brace that I can wear under jeans. Doesn't restrict movement but does help keep things in place. Thoughts?

May consider topical Voltaren on the knee so you aren't taking an NSAID through your whole system for so long. You can get a tube at wal mart for 10 bucks. You may not feel it's a effective (or it might be) but it's worth a shot.

I was taking advil a lot more up front to combat the inflammation but have scaled it back since. I'm down to maybe an advil PM or two per night

I'm down to maybe an advil PM or two per night That's good. But yeah if its more manageable maybe the topical will do the job. Voltaren is still an NSAID and is really effective usually. Used to be rx only, but recently went on the shelf. And taken topically out won't affect the stomach and liver the same. It's cheap, and even if you don't think it helps your knee, someone will find it useful for something at some point.

April 13, 20214 yr mock with trades. Horn at 12, trade up to 30 for Bateman. https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/2021-nfl-mock-draft-trevor-sikkema-5.0

I like Bateman if we go corner first but giving up the third this year would sting a little.

Ideally for me Horn and Marshall is a dream scenario with the first 2 picks. I like Bateman too, but not really enough to trade up for. I kinda think you might get Bateman with our own 2nd round pick not needing to trade up.

I think the most likely outcome is that neither Horn or Surtain makes it to the 12th pick. I think both Denver and Dallas go CB unless something unexpected happens.

Surtain is a technician. But Horn gets compared to Ramsey for his tenacity. I wouldn't be surprised if he was taken before Surtain. Maybe we get Surtain at 12. I'd be thrilled with either.
