October 22, 20223 yr in my CVON news, second youngest son had his car stolen the other day. Police found it a couple days later down the road. Only issue with it when he recovered it was the ignition had been messed with somewhat. Cops told my son there's a new thing with thieves using a USB cord somehow in some cars 2015+ to 'hotwire' the car. EDIT: i'm done, won't be renewing social contract next re-up (Kia Boys video)

She really doesn't have much interest in driving and I'm fine with it, my wife usually winds up pushing her. I'm not proud of it, I struggle to try to get over it, but I just can't. this brought back memories of taking hunt jr out to practice driving.

November 7, 20223 yr Fridge broke right around the beginning of COVID. First stimulus check was right in time to blow on a new fridge. We have a slightly narrower space for ours. Can only go up to 33'' wide. At that size, notably the LG brand offered significantly larger cubic feet of storage space than any other brand. So we went with LG. Well, its already broken. It was delivered in June of 2020. And it is broken. Freezer doesnt freeze. Fridge isnt cold enough either, and smells like chemicals- wondering if it leaked refrigerant. 5 year warranty on some parts. 10 year warranty on the linear compressor. But guess what- no one services LGs. They gave us the number for 3 different service centers. The closest one said they dont service LG products. The next one had a number that was out of service. And the 3rd one was over an hour away and said (obviously) they dont service our area. We have had a cooler with ice on our floor for over a week now for bottled waters and such, and went out and purchased a mini-fridge for perishable stuff while we wait for LG to find someone to service it. Supposedly if this goes on for 15 days without being able to have it repaired, we can eventually just get refunded for the fridge (Ill believe that when we see it). So we will see. But to go that long without a fridge, and for them to not be able to service it is crazy. This is a word of warning. We wont ever buy another LG appliance.
