When we were in FL for baby girl, I saw a report about a class action suit on our exact model but I never followed up on it. We also had a Samsung stove that we loved, but I recently had to replace the heating element on it. Oh, and my dad had a Samsung dishwasher. Crapped out just after the year warranty. Took my dad forever to find a repairman and the dude flat out told him that he could repair it, but in the long run it would be more cost effective to buy a replacement that is not Samsung. Apparently the dishwashers were notoriously bad. So yeah, @HazletonEagle should absolutely buy Samsung appliances. my samsung dishwasher is so whisper quiet I forget its running 99% of the time.
