@mr_hunt since I never officially learned Python myself, I decided to take a class today.  (I'm cheap so it's free).

 

So my question is, what is protocol?  Do we touch tips or just go straight to the applesauce?

I was going through a box of old stuff from my days in the Army yesterday and came across my very first LES (think of it as a 'pay stub'). After taxes and other deductions for things like the GI Bill and Life Insurance were taken out, I was left with a grand total for the entire month of June (and a few days for the month of May) 1988, of $313 and some change. 

One year earlier (summer 1987) I was working part time as an usher at a movie theater (AMC), making $3.35 an hour and one of my pay checks was about $100 more than that lol. Of course, even though I was part time, I worked massive hours that summer. Many times from the time the theater opened until after it was closed. It was such a fun job, it wasn't 'work' to me. 

Best early job was at a gas station pumping gas since all the girls would not do that themselves.

I have two $1 bills saved.  One is the first one I ever earned.  The other is one my dad gave me when I graduated from college..... someone stamped on it that the company I was joining "Stole my pension"

Not quite the same thing, but I have a $2 bill, postage stamped and hand cancelled by the post office, from 1976 when it was re-issued after 10 years of not being printed/issued. My grandfather got one for each of his grandkids. Kind of a Bicentennial gift/keepsake. I was 7 at the time.

update: this is clearly a sipping tequila. generally i sip but had recently gotten into shooting when someone turned me onto Luna Azul. maybe it was because we had company over and there was a lot of social stimulation but i was lit in no time with just shots. i'll have to try sipping this one next time to get a better idea of the taste, the sweet agave is heavy in this one.
