But there's nothing free market about it.And I'm not sure what you meant by "100% pro-taking down the Cuban regime" if you didn't mean invasion. It's not like Cuba's in open revolt right now. It'll have to come from outside sources. Either way, it's none of our business. All we'll do is get a bunch of people killed, spend a bunch of our money and get nothing for it.Well yeah, under MAGA we are already in a Kleptocracy. I'm talking about the movement of the non MAGA sane people. The model is the free market pro welfare societies in the Nordics. As for Cuba, I'm talking about finding the right time under the right US leadership to transform Cuba and remove the long term corrupt govt. Rubio seemed liked the right guy but he's sold his soul.

There's no sane light at the end of the tunnel for us. It's way easier to break sheet than to build it, which is why the likely end result here is permanent Kleptocracy.

Reps obviously don't want it and when Dems implemented a fairly mild form gov't subsidized healthcare it was the end of the world and Reps have successfully destroyed it since. And, again, that was mild. There has to be buy in for what the Nordic states have achieved and that can never happen here.

Obamacare wasn't perfect but then neither is any of they Nordic country systems.

No issue for me as I'm on the Swedish system which by the way is FAR from perfect but does give a minimum level to everyone.

You're clearly much more optimistic than I am.
