First of all, YES, absolutely, the 22 hr blackouts are a direct result of the oil blockade. They've had a busted power grid and blackouts for ages, but that's very different from 22 hrs a of darkness, hospitals without power etc etc. GAESA is a perfectly acceptable villain, but "Trump's offer" here is hollow. $100m in relief funds (not exactly a huge # and nobody trusts he will go through with) and after that just open platitudes about capitalism is so great.

Do better if you're going to cause a humanitarian crises for political points.

If Rubio is going to make an even half honest plea for Cubans to "rise up" against such a heavily entrenched regime, you might want to make good on the promises you made to Venezuela and iran's people first. I'm 100% pro taking down the Cuban regime but let's call it what is is that we are doing. It is an act of War and Congress should be required to give approval. I would advise them to do so. Perhaps after setting a real deadline with requests of Cuba and not one of those Trump two week tweet threats.

As soon as the Dictator is done with Iran. Cuba will be next. Full military invasion

Certainly nothing good can come from MAGA taking on the project. The old Rubio I would have supported and used a carrot and threat of stick approach. Im not talking about a real invasion. As for our movement, we aren’t going to abandon free market. We are moving toward the free market welfare state model.
