March 31Mar 31 Yeah I'm with vikas. Mustard sucks. I don't know if I have some equivalent of the cilantro gene for mustard but I honestly can't stand the smell or taste of it. The dijon brown stuff is slightly less nauseating than the bright yellow French's kind but I will starve myself rather than eat anything slathered in that gunk. I used to think it was solely because of the acidity from the vinegar, but I've become accustomed to Carolina bbq sauces on brisket without issue and still won't go near mustard.

May 15May 15 Add me to the anti-mustard crowd. It's disgusting. Like others, even the smell can make me gag, and I can deal with vinegar on BBQ (not on fries) but can't take mustard. Carolina Gold sauce is as close to mustard that I get.I'm less of a ketchup fan than I was as a kid. I have it on hamburgers and hot dogs, and that may be it. I like ranch dressing with my french fries, or a seasoning on my fries. BBQ sauce can be substituted for the fries, if necessary.

May 15May 15 Mustard haters! I'll admit in my old age the French's is awful I prefer brown spicy. Since I'm a type 2 diabetic now, I have very little ketchup (NEVER on a hot dog!) and maple syrup on things. I can literally feel my sugar going up if I have more than a teaspoon.Those poor Cubans
