I thought people stopped doing that once their got done grade school? (and yes, my wife puts ketchup on hot dogs and I ask her the same thing every time)

If we have people over, we just order out or, for a larger group, get it catered. Know a pretty good chef that will do catering - used her for Thanksgiving this past year. So much better than dealing with my wife stressing out about cooking.

Don't think the ketchup/mustard moves the needle on that.

May 15May 15 You guys will be relieved to know that I also put ketchup on my burgers and then I proceed to dip the burger before each bite to make sure the ketchup to burger ratio is never out of balance.

Off subject, I had 3 years of German in HS and would try to talk to him while he spoke Pennsylvania Dutch, couldn’t keep up, so I would always say "Du bist ein Esel”. He had the best laugh afterwards.

Chicken fingers can be topped with most anything: BBQ, buffalo/ranch, etc. Brats are good with roasted pepper/onion, it doesn't have to have mustard on it. Soft pretzels can be plain... But yeah, I do agree some things need mustard. Cuban sandwiches (ham and pork). Certainly. And I have taken a liking to Chicago dogs dragged through the garden - it needs mustard. No ketchup.

Chicago style dogs are every bit as bad as plain but in the other direction. There's 2 best ways to eat hot dogs people, mustard & chopped onions or chili & saurkraut. Mayo & relish are also acceptable toppings. Ketchup is for mediocre french fries or mayo-ketchup, that's it.

I've recently gotten really into making scones, and they have been turning out friggen delicious. So far I've done plain english scones, and lemon scones. The lemon scones are amazing, never doing plain again. Still need to try blueberry scones and orange scones. Also chocolate chip scones.

May 15May 15 My daughter's favorite all-purpose condiment is the dipping sauce from Raising Cane's. She puts that sheet on everything. Fries, burgers, even just on a plain piece of toast like a psycho. I didn't even like it to dip the chicken in but it's starting to grow on me a bit too where I'll dip every other bite lightly in it.

I haven't really figured out the formula yet. Definitely a good amount of black pepper in there. You can see it.Chick-fil-a sauce is pretty good too. It is essentially honey mustard + barbecue sauce.
