What a baby. See ya

ESPN has an article. 'Fractured beyond repair'. This is coming from the Wentz camp.

On the other hand there has been rumors about Wentz just about every off-season since the SB saying that he lacked leadership and wasn't coachable due to his lack of ability to handle criticism. He is likely butthurt that he was benched for Hurts even though he has regressed drastically and not improved in the areas that he continually struggled (ball security, throwing the ball away etc.) It's going to be tough to trade him with all the dead cap they'll have to eat.

If he wants to request a trade, he should be aware that his big contract extension will be the biggest obstacle in moving him. If he really wants to be re-united with the Frank Reich on the Colts, he'll need to play nice with the FO to re-adjust his contract situation to make him tradeable.

I've got a jersey so I have that going for me

The article did indicate that Wentz would facilitate ways to make it easier for the Eagles to trade him.  I hope that's the case, but as stubborn as he seems to be I'm not sure if I can buy it.

I liked carson. I thought he was going to be an elite level qb. He showed so much potential and who knows maybe he will be elite, but it won’t be here and I’m OK with it.  After 5 years of up and down with him, injuries, etc Im over it.  They are 17-21 with him as a starter.  He hasn’t had a passer rating over 95 since dec 2019.  He basically has has 11 or 12 really good games and the rest have been below average.  It’s gonna hurt the cap and the roster but it’s time for some turnover anyway.  A lot of dead weight here.

You never know what's true anymore, but this really seems like a complete slate that needs wiped clean from Howie on down.

I already know he's going to go to another system and flourish.

So Schefter’s report from weeks ago was right.

Oh yeah I’m on board with sending Howie packing too.  I think doug lost the team a bit but seemed to regain some buy-in by switching to jalen for whatever reason.

the way this is handled is going to impact the veterans mindset on the team as they want to win now not rebuild, and could affect whether FA want to come here or not.  They have to do this right and send the right message to the team and to potential FA

Howie going should be priority 1. Sadly, Lurie isn't going to get it until this disaster is repeated next year.

As for Doug, I'm not hellbent on saving his job, but I don't know that I buy the team has quit on him. This team is bad, really really bad, but I never got a sense of quit.

If true, what a baby.

His report was a take on mortensons read of the situation.  He backtracked and said he didn’t cite carson and it wasn’t coming from him.  Seems like mort has doubled down.  Whether he actually has spoken to Carson or his agent who knows, but he’s trying to connect dots with rovers retiring and reuniting carson with reich.  It’s the low hanging fruit. Anybody could have conjectured this.

Rumor was already stated before and retracted as it was false and more of a reporters "thought" Hence the words 'EXPECTED" to ask for a trade, lol.

Just more false reports to get people to read their article.

No doubt, but both you and I know that isn't happening.

This story, if true, will only drive the price down.        If it is known that Wentz wants out, the league will wait them out knowing that the Eagles can't possibly go into their preparations for 2021 with this hanging over the franchise, especially if the plan is to move forward with Hurts.

One thing that wouldn't remotely surprise me is Wentz' career being rehabilitated in a place like Indy, where he will have proper coaching and be surrounded with weapons that compliment his skill set, like most good organizations do when they have a young franchise QB.

Maybe not quit but they were going through motions with Carson, you could clearly see some better play out of everyone when the switch happened.  Maybe that had more to do with the execution overall but it looked like they came alive a little bit.

Wentz is every bit the mental midget that the Alshon story made him out to be. F him, good riddance.

Maybe, but it doesn't seem to contradict the general attitude Wentz has seemed to display toward the situation. The old saying still generally holds true: Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Well then Doug wants to get fired then as well. With his press conferences and him repeatedly making bone head choices over and over again shows he is doing it on purpose to get fired like the reports said a month ago, lol.

I never trust any reports unless its actual fact and done. Unitl then, everything is speculation with these guys. thats why they get paid.

We could fill a bus with all the players and staff that need to get out of town.  I don't ever recall a situation when we had so many needing to go all at once.

Mortensen published a story about Wentz's desire to be traded.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, who was benched in favor of rookie Jalen Hurts last month, still plans to ask for a trade in the offseason because his relationship with head coach Doug Pederson is fractured beyond repair, according to league sources.

The Eagles are aware of this potential development, but a team source tells ESPN that the organization's asking price for Wentz will be significant for the quarterback they selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 draft.

Multiple teams are expected to have interest in trading for Wentz, including the Indianapolis Colts, whose coach Frank Reich was Wentz's offensive coordinator in Philadelphia...

If it is determined that the relationship between Wentz and Pederson is indeed beyond repair, the plan will have to account for some salary cap maneuvers. Wentz and his representatives are willing to work with general manager Howie Roseman to facilitate a move out of Philadelphia, league sources told ESPN.

This team is doomed
