You know I was going to post something about more "league sources" and speculation BS, but thought on it a minute. This is the second time this has come out, so IMO, Carson needs to direct his agent to deny these if it's not true. 

I've defended this dude, not his play this year that was horrible but in general, and if he doesn't want to come back and fight for his job then F him. Philly doesn't need nor will we tolerate that kind of weak minded ish.

Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up being a good/solid QB.  But I dont see ever being an elite one like we thought.

After 2016-17 Eagles were a primary FA destination.   All it took was 3 years of Doug and Howie show to run it into the ground.

Yeah this is a different type of city, fanbase and media.  They dont tolerate weak minded players that cant handle criticism.

I've said before the problem with him is between the ears.  Talent wise he has it.

Never, ever, ever, ever liked the person. He reminds me of a big fish from a tiny pond whose butt has been kissed his whole life and can't handle different personalities. And guess what, right on the nose. 

I did like the player. 

That said, just get rid of him. Having to hear about drama from a quarterback is unbearable and it has been for years now. I'm done. It is now fractured with me. (Not that anyone cares LOL)

If they are keeping Howie and Doug, I do not want ANYONE else back other than Jeff Stoutland. And hell, I have a friend on the coaching staff, so that's saying something. (don't worry, I doubt he's contributing a damn thing right now)

Wentz would have to restructure for a trade to work. There's just no way the Eagles (or pretty much any other team) could afford $34 million in dead money.  Howie strikes again.

But Wentz isn't cut out for this market.  He's a small town kid from a small time program.  Say what you will about Hurts, but you can see the poise and the pedigree. There's a reason some guys are recruited by Alabama and Oklahoma and others by North Dakota State. That more than translates at the next level.
