I've seen him bang his helmet down in frustration a couple times. It's a bad look and definitely immature. I think he's still about 2 or 3 seasons away from being a mature player.

Well I guess 43 year old Brady is also immature too since he’s banged his helmet on the sideline. Or almost every other player in the NFL.

Lmfao at you guys hating and calling him soft because he wants out. I don’t blame him one bit. He really has the upper hand in this situation. If he doesn't want agree to a pay cut to be tradeable then he does have to. The Eagles are screwed in this situation and will be eating a huge cap hit. It's crazy how this organization has been mismanaged since the SB win. The problem starts at the top and rolls down. There's when my focus of hate is.

Probably the difference between Wentz and Brady in those moments are Brady can put that behind him or use it for motivation. When Wentz displays his frustrations outwardly as a player, the other team knows it's over. He can not play well when he gets frustrated.

If that's what you call throwing a tantrum then there's a very very short list NFL players that doesn't.

2021 Depth Chart:

1. Jalen Hurts

2. Nick Foles

3. Draft Pick

:-)

If he wants out so bad how about he reworks his contract so he’s more tradeable.

Tantrum wasn't my word. I was just adding commentary. I would like to see Wentz display a little more control in those moments.

Well I think Brady IS immature. Hence his refusal to shake hands with Foles (and other QBs who beat him).

Upper hand? What? I think his employer can choose to not play him and he can watch his career go down the tubes. There is leverage on both sides in terms of major negative consequences. If it was a situation like Adams wanting out of NY, then it would be different because he was a marquee asset and the Jets didn't want him to lose value. Wentz's value is in question because of his play. He does not have the upper hand if he values his career and still wants to be a franchise QB. There will  need to be cooperation for this scenario to unfold in a mutually beneficial way.

Yeah, Wentz has little leverage in this situation. If he doesn’t restructure his contract, the team would be taking a big cap hit whether he is on the team or not. They could very easily just let him sit next season.

How did it help the team? The inexperienced replacement made some plays, but his mistakes hurt us last week when we controlled our own playoff fate. He wasn't "awful all year" either. I mean, if it helps you move on to believe that, then whatever, but he had some good moments this year --- added a couple come from behind wins to his resume.

Wentz was literally like the 35th rated qb in the league.  So yeah, he was awful all year.

The best thing to do is just do whatever it takes to move on for both sides and not have a 30 million dollar QB sitting on the bench in a pissed off mood for a whole season.  What if you have to go back to him? I don't think either of them have leverage it's just a sheety situation that they both need to move on from.

I don't know who this guy is but got darn if the second part of his tweet isn't 100% truth.

Really? All those failed drives, 3 and outs, turnovers and you've never once seen him not throw a tantrum?

Honestly I have NEVER seen Wentz lose it on the sideline. What player doesn't get upset with themselves when they screw up or miss a play? These guys are human btw.

If you call that a tantrum them you must have very thin skin yourself

He doesn't have what it takes to play in the city of Philly

Yes he does in my opinion. He's on the books for 30 plus mil trade or cut. That is unless he agrees to restructure.  The Eagles can't force him to take a cut

they could easily relegate him to be the backup and then how he conducts himself will also be a factor in his value. If he wants out, his side needs to be realistic about the situation and work with the Eagles to make it tenable for another team to take him on.

A coach that puts him back in after a benching?

Not many do but that shouldn't be something the fans should be proud of.

Why? He's played like garbage all year. Maybe their mind set is to prevent him from injury or further progression going into next season. Eagles weren't going anywhere this year even if they put him back in
