I am not one of them. I like QBs that can run. I don't care what he looks like. I care if he's good or not. You're trying to make people's style preference into something it isn't and that is propaganda. You even bring up politics and compare people that didn't vote your way to the worst people in history. You are a propagandist to a fault. It's not only important to you that everybody likes Jalen as much as you do, but you can't submit a post without knocking every single other QB out there. That's propaganda. Jalen isn't the best QB in the world. He is not a god. It's alright that there are players at his position that are better. This is a team sport. His job is to help this team win games and he has been very successful doing that. Most Eagles fans recognize this and support him. You deify him. When the team loses, you blame everybody but him --- even after Hurts takes the blame in his own press conferences.
September 15Sep 15 If Hurts could take what the defenses give him some more and stop being the King of 3 and out the team would feast. The defense wouldn't be getting cooked week in and week out having to go out every 3 minutes. That's my only real gripe with him. He has a hard time keeping the offense on the field. Bottom of the league hard time. It's maddening.

So I don't really see the reason to use this thread to continue to further a PR campaign without actually being prompted (i.e. unless the reply is a direct rebuttal to a recent post).I've certainly defended many an Eagles player here and I still do. I just don't believe I've ever spontaneously posted propaganda as a proactive defense. I also believe that every player that currently wears an Eagles uniform deserves support. Even after a guy has a bad game like Dickerson had, I'm rooting for him to get back on track. In his case it might take a while since the blocking schemes are different than they were under Stoutland. Rest assured I respect the right to be critical of a bad performance, decision, play, etc...My biggest gripe with Hurts is that I think he should run more than he currently does. I believe his legs are an underutilized asset. So in short you think only you are allowed to praise a player or be critical of them. I hate to burst your bubble guy, but that’s not how life works. You don’t have a monopoly on criticism and praise. Defending a player who had a bad game isn’t you being better, it’s you ignoring reality. Plenty of people around here have heaped praises onto Landon Dickerson, so I think the man can handle some criticism especially when it’s deserved. In short you’re wrong. You’re not anyone’s measuring stick on how much criticism or praise a player can receive. Our differences are what makes this place great. If we all agreed with you, then this place would be completely flooded with PFF fanboys and zero personality.

Barkley is boom or bust at the moment, again due to the line and it’s rare he picks up the 4-6 yards to make it easier to convert. Hopefully Dickerson going on IR will result in an improvement and we can get less negative plays which result in 3 and outs.

Without saquon carrying the team in 24, there is no SBEnough fans have a way better understanding of modern QB play than you.Without Saquon carrying the team in 2022, they lost the SB 38-35 on a jersey tug.Hurts was very good in 2024. He did not get lots of passing yards opportunity. The team was 16-2 in games that Hurts started and finished. The 2 losses were on a Saquon drop and a game in September Tampa without Lane, AJ, and DeVonta. He had 2903 yards passing and 630 rushing in 15 games, 3533 or 235.5 per game and 4,004 yards per 17.He had 32 TDs in 15 games and 42 in 19 games. He was 5th in the league in passer rating. He was 4th in yards per attempt. He was 11th in passing TD% even though he ran in 14 TDs.He was 6th in lowest interception rate.He was even 8th in fantasy points per game if you care about stats alone. He made the run game better because the other team has to honor the QB keeper. The team ran for 2509 and 32 in 2022, I don't remember Saquon being on the team.He got better in the playoffs. He got even better in the Super Bowl.Scumbag AJ had 1079 yards and 7 TDs in 13 games. (great numbers)How is him missing 3 games and sitting out another one a Hurts problem? His per 17 was 1411 and 9. A toddler cried about a 1411 and 9 pace and morons believed his complaints. If you let ESPN and D-Gunn think for you, he had a bad year. Those people are nothing and Hurts was SB MVP.Look at Stafford 2022-24 and find all the far worse play than Hurts. You probably can't do this because WIP and ESPN won't let you.You have zero free will to think for yourself. If you are a worthless cultist, you pretend Stafford has been great for 17 years and Hurts is bad because feelings and a handful of plays.Aikman's averages 1992,93, and 9554 passing TDs 27 picks 2 rushing TDs 9849 yards passing 262 yards rushing18.7 TDs a year with 3370 yards per year (played in 46 of 48 games) 220 yards per game.No one was an idiot cultist saying Aikman had 3 bad years and 3 SB rings.16+ combined wins and 40+ combined TDs in a year (including playoffs)1984 Marino1994 Young1996 Favre1999, 2001 Warner2007 Brady2009 Brees2015 Newton2020, 2021, 2022 Mahomes2021 Stafford2024 HurtsEvery one of these besides Stafford 2021 and Mahomes 2020 and 2021 was MVP or SB MVP or both. But yeah, Hurts was not great because some people have low IQs and feelings.Eagles Offense Ranks 2021-20252021 - 12 142022 - 3 32023 - 7 82024 - 7 82025 - 19 242026 - 17 16 (after 1 game)For the Dunning Kruger special people: 7 8 is not the same as 19 24 and 19 24 is not the same as 17 16.
September 16Sep 16 Joe Montana 1988 = Bad Year by the logic of the idiots. 🤣Craig and Rathman carried him with 2845 yards from scrimmage? Is that how this works?

September 28Sep 28 Jalen has been the captain/quarterback of the most successful era of Eagles football, and it’s not really that close, but year after year he has to keep being called into question.
