Have they cut JJ-AWFUL yet?

Seriously how did he make the team over any of the PS players we have seen so far?

I'm not sure why people continue to root for a player on the team to fail. JJAW hasn't made any plays so far this season. His QB was playing poorly in each game he played and JJAW was hurt in the 3rd game.

I mentioned in another thread that I hope Wentz learned something today by being forced to trust all the guys on the field.

FFS, he's been inactivated behind guys who are rookies and we just picked up off another team's PS.  He can't make his way onto the field when we have THREE key WRs out with injury.  That's all we need to know, right there.  Just IR him or cut him already.  He can't F'ing play the game at the NFL level.

Yeah the time has come. I know it is only year 2 for him and I know we invested a second round pick on the guy but he clearly doesn't have it. Wentz throw a beautiful TD pass to Fulgham yesterday who he has barely practised with. He showed more anticipation and trust in Fulgham than he has in JJAW who he's played more games with and had a lot more time in practice with.

You have to wonder just what the point of keeping him on the roster is at this point given who is getting snaps at Wide Receiver.

How quickly can we get this kids bags packed? 39 yards in his last 7 games. Fulgham was on the practice squad Saturday and has had the better Eagles career. Singletary has more receptions. So does McLeod. So does the left tackle for the chiefs.

if howie has any self respect left he will resign at 9am today.

Is he healthy?

I don’t get it...

Honestly just cut him at this points. Fulgham, Burnett, Hightower have all shown more than this bust.

F JJAW. F Desean. F Alshon. Roll with the other kids for the rest of the season, including Reagor when he gets back, and let them grow. And throw in Watkins.

Horrible draft pick

I don’t see people rooting for or hoping this kid fails. The reality is he’s just not good and he is another draft failure by Howie. Everyone would rather he were out there balling like others in his draft class. Heck just show some signs of life, but he’s not even looking better than practice squad players on his own team and that’s incredibly frustrating to see actually. Do you think he’s played well so far?

Was just about to post the same.

Just show us something! It’s not like he’s buried at a position with extremely talented people in front of him. He’s hurt right now so it is what it is, but where’s the fight? Heck Reagor at least wants to get out there and prove his doubters wrong.

Past the point of letting him dress, take practice reps only to be a no show on Sunday’s.  There are hungry, undrafted guys that are earning those reps and should be given a chance because JJAW has squandered the opportunity.  How long are we supposed to "root for the guy”, i.e. hand him a guaranteed roster spot and have the QB force the ball his way.  If he was good enough to make a difference, he would have flashed by now.

Nobody hates this kid.  Howie effed this one up and most of us knew it the moment they announced his name.  A guy that cannot get separation in the PAC will not translate in the NFL.  It was a head scratcher given the fact that the NFL is moving away from lumbering "catch radius” receivers and headed towards track teams in pads.  If you wanted your big catch radius receiver, he was there too.  His name is DK F’ing Metcalf.

Im not sure about anyone else, but I would be excited to see JJAW come to life out there play well. Heck right now it’s a win for him just to get catch.

I said it to the TATErs on draft day that were busting my balls for being negative on this kid.  I hope he proves me wrong.  I would love to come on the board and say I got it all wrong and this dude is a DOOD. I am rooting for this kid.

But he should be putting up 50-60 catches for 700+ yards and 5-7 TDs at this point.  That’s what you would project for a 2nd round investment in a WR.

Take your anger out on Howie, not on this kid.  The kid’s done nothing wrong.  He has put in the work, he has done what he was asked, never been a distraction or a bad representative of the team off the field.  But he isn’t an elite athlete at a position of which that is a prerequisite.

Nobody wants him to fail. Acknowledging that he is terrible and wanting to move on is not rooting against him.

Howie is definitely at fault here. He choose this kid and the same applies to the Hurts pick the Eagles are trying to justify with these useless 2 quarterback plays. I mean did he really need to draft a quarterback in the second round? Wouldn’t that pick have been served better with drafting a starter level player? It’s all on Howie and nothing these kids.

It’s especially sickening when you look at the injuries on our roster at key positions and then go back and look at who was available to draft in the second round at WR, OL, CB and LB with that pick.  Heck, why not trade back a round if the only guy there with a 2nd round grade in their judgement was Hurts.

Basically from the Eagles first to picks in this past draft they got one big catch and a few sporadic gadget plays. That’s failing to get it done by Howie.

Howie is a capologist.  That’s it.  Zero football experience in his entire life.  Never put on pads, never took a snap. Wasn’t even a towel boy and never coached.

I don’t know if him never putting on the pads means he’s can’t do the job, but he’s been involved in this process since 08 and if he’s still getting it wrong now then he needs to be replaced.

Howie is a capologist that can't manage the cap. Look at the cap for the next couple years from this "capologist"

He was a 2nd round pick and is the new Na Brown of training camps.
