October 26, 20204 yr So if JJAW leaves Philly, and starts to ball out like Agholor is it safe to maybe give Carson a little blame for it? I mean the kid can’t catch the ball if he doesn’t throw it his way. Just sayin. 🤷♂️

Howie should do the right thing and hand in his keys to the facility and resign by close of business today.

And I don't think his play has helped either Agholor or JJAW in the last two years. Having said that - Agholor has just gone back to his 2017/18 ceiling. Something happened last year, but he just lost it with us. I imagine it was mental, but he needed a change. JJAW probably does suck though. Metcalf is lucky to have Wilson though - legitimate top QB.

I know it is a shame because I was a little excited by him coming out of college. I did think that physicality was going to stand him in good stead in the NFL.

October 26, 20204 yr Agholor was dropping passes left and right, his numbers would have been off the charts had he actually caught the ball.

So, subconsciously he knows he won't get a lot of second chances there, so he is producing. The Eagles FO doesn't hold players accountable that much. You rarely see players benched or jobs opened up for competition here. Agholor should've been demoted with all those drops, but the Eagles kept on babying him in the media.

October 27, 20204 yr So apparently the cardinals shadowed DK with Patrick Peterson all game and doubled him every play leading to Tyler Lockett completely torching single coverage and putting up a ridiculous stat line. He also freakishly ran down this interception, saving a TD. I can not get over this other worldly speed. The breakdown is pretty hilarious too:

I lost count of how many passes dinged off his hands since 2016, not to mention how many game winners last year alone, two, three? Carson has had his own problems, but let's not entertain the idea that he somehow held Nelson back.
October 27, 20204 yr Author I think its safe to say the Metcalf chase-down last night was more impressive than Whiteside's Entire career

However, I was hopeful that I was wrong (me being the non-NFL personnel expert) and that he'd turn into someone productive. Sadly, he's proving me right.
October 27, 20204 yr Agholor is not anything different than he was here. He is a big play threat with butterfingers. He has made some big plays in each of the last two games for vegas which is ballooning his stats. The difference between good agholor and bad agholor has ALWAYS been his head... when he is confident he is a serviceable receiver; when he isn't, he is the worst receiver in the league. Maybe being forced to produce (up or else) has caused him to rely on instinct and not overthink things, and this has somehow solidified his confidence? Maybe, his confidence has grown in vegas because he has no first round pressure? Who knows... Whatever the case, he wasnt gonna work out here, and I am glad he is gone.

Yeah I don’t know about babying him. I just don’t think they believe in him. They think he can block though. That’s pretty much all they let him do.

October 27, 20204 yr This is one of the most painful threads in recent EMB history. Watching what Metcalf is doing and seeing JJAW do absolutely nothing is extremely painful. Hated the pick when it was made ... no words to describe the level of hate I now feel for it. F U Howie you f'ing moron!
October 28, 20204 yr rumor has it Howie has gotten rid of all the mirrors in his house because after all these bad picks there is no way he is able to look himself in the mirror anymore.

JJAW may not have contributed to this team in a way to make people feel better about the pick, but do you really need to make stuff like this up to bash him? His effort is there on the field. He never quit blocking on those 2 long Sanders runs. He made the heads up play at the end of the last one. He's always one of the first players to congratulate a teammate. Yes, we'd all like to see him become a great player (which he hasn't to this point), but there are enough real reasons to discuss, if you want to pile on his lack of production, that you shouldn't need to make BS up to cry about. Sheesh...
October 28, 20204 yr Prediction - JJAW's season long Stats for end of 2020 Season 9 135 1 TD 35 drops 2 Ints allowed 1 Fumble Recovery for a TD
