Well Eagles fans are cooked then, we're not going to be competitive forever. I always want the Eagles to win too, but expecting to compete for SB forever is just masochism.

You look to quickly rebuild over two years. We did it after 2020 and we have plenty of talent on D. Need to rebuild the OL and settle on QB and it could happen.

For the 3rd week in a row, Eagles find a way to make the other team play ugly ass football. That's their best trait. Sure hope this doesn't get decided by a brain fart. Would give it 50/50. I have more faith that McKee will play better.

That was the dumbest game management I’ve ever seen

Weren’t you here last week?

Not going to happen forever. Super spoiled after the last retool between those two groups. I feel like people focus too much on the fact that they pulled it off rather than the "The only time it has ever happened" part.

Maybe if you don't blow it up and have to inherit another entirely new scheme set and all that again?

Congrats on the participation trophy mindset. Nobody is saying forever but with that amount of talent they should win. If injuries happen it rips your heart out you don't watch going well this is still enjoyable!!! Nothing fun about it. It's like passing a kidney stone it just hurts and you are glad when it's finally over. Today is sickening though.

Everything on offense just looks so unorganized. I feel like they’re just winging it and hoping guys like Smith and Goedert just bail them out

Sirriani was an unserious moron long before the injury bug bit.

I thought that there was something I was missing and I just couldn’t see his magic or whatever but after the last couple weeks I would be fine if he went about his business elsewhere.

So hoping our talent can win out and lackluster scheming? Seems familiar

Focus of the draft should be oline and qb in the first 3rds. Add in a rb maybe in 4th rd. The rest of the draft should be depth at oline, dline, and secondary. Starting S is needed badly but idk if they'll be able to address that with how badly they need to rebuild the oline

Things McKee can do today to look better than Hurts so far this year.

Lead the offense to a 1st quarter TD drive.

Lead the offense to more than 3 first quarter points.

Lead the offense to a 3rd quarter TD drive.

Lead the offense to more than 3 third quarter points.

Throw for more than 200 yards.

Complete at least 60% of his passes.

Not get sacked multiple times.

Not lead an offense that has the most 3 and outs this week.

Eagles have their first 100 yard rusher.

It really is amazing how bad the offense has been.

The Eagles average 13 points in the second quarter. They average 1.7 points in all other quarters.

15 total combined 1st, 3rd and 4th quarters through 5 games.

9 of 15 quarters they have been shut out.

4 of 15 they have scored 3 points.

2 of 15 they have scored 7 points.

Things aren't looking good for this list.

1st quarter TD drive - No.
More than 3 first quarter points - No.
On pace for 188 yards passing
56% completion pct.
3 3 and outs so far today
Leading rusher has 27 yards.

Maybe something will change in the second half... but the first half was pretty much on par with all year. Mostly pathetic.

Too many experienced Eagles making mistakes. False starts on Mailata and Goedert, dropped pass by Goedert, shanked punt by Mann. Covey fumbling every ball coming to him.

Offensive formations look disjointed, some plays where RB and WR don’t know who to block. Gotta give McKee more help

I think the routes are better but the protection is not good. The run game is malpractice

Steele went out injured, and Blue doesn't know the play book. When you only have 1 RB, you don't really want to wear him down too much, do you?

What participation trophy mindset? I'm not saying anyone should be rewarded for that, I'm just talking about literally reality? Has any NFL team won every SB? No?

I accept reality. I know that's uncommon among Eagles fans, but I can actually process, maturely, that not every year is going to go your way. It doesn't mean someone must be held accountable for the pain of the fans. crap happens.

People seem to accept this in life, but in football, that's a participation trophy mindset? I mean okay...

I mean, I said the same thing at the start of that game. Carolin does not have a very good run defense. The fact that you’re allowing a guy to make his first start in a game that actually matters and you’re just not running the ball for the first 9 plays of the game. I get it’s not ideal cause Pierce isn’t very good. But you can’t just abandon the running game because you just want to. The Eagles didn’t have a good running game in 2018 either. They were down to Josh Adams yet they still ran the ball with Josh Adams.

AJ Brown has like 5 drops today, sheesh.

Maybe one day Sean Mannion becomes a great coach/play caller but he’s not good right now. Just get rid of him and let Sirianni run the offense the remainder of the season.

I assume he’ll be terrible but that will give us all the more reason to move on.

I mean, I get that. But they started the game off with nine consecutive passes. Like you don’t have to be an overly abundant team running the football. But maybe help your Qb early trying to run it more than 0 times in your first 9 plays.
