May 10, 20223 yr Listening to Douglas Murray and Sam Harris discuss the Hunter laptop topic. Harris seems to want to justify blocking that info back then because "the ends justify the means" (i.e. get rid of Trump) while Murray basically says "the info should not have been suppressed". Harris argues that it was so important the get rid of Trump that it was justified to withhold info while Murray says the overall trust in both the govt and media was more important and that the US democracy survived Trump. Murray argues that the democracy did stand up in the end of the day on Jan 6th and that it is super unhealthy long term to politicize everything including the intelligence agencies. A very good back and forth with various angles and points of discussion.
