No one's ever walked in lock-step with the orders of their party leader quite like Republicans under Trump and yet they're still ashamed of who they are. They literally mainline the party talking points through dozens of talk radio/nightly talking head shows that pile up huge ratings, word for word telling them who to hate and what to be afraid of every day and they still somehow pretend that they're independent minded.
