Lol so you guys are just going with Hunter acting on his own without any knowledge from Joe, huh?

Until there is verifiable evidence otherwise, then yes.

I, for one, hope that Hunter is barred from running for POTUS in the future.

Agreed. I don't care if Hunter gets decades in prison. He and Trump can be yard buddies.

cheeto's supporters should go to prison too.  10 years if you voted for him once....25 if you voted for him twice...sounds fair.

There is already evidence though.  They read text messages in a Congressional hearing.

And, seriously, how could anyone on earth believe that Hunter did any of this on his own or without Joes knowledge?

It's a cult of the dumbest people on the planet. These people legitimately think a crackhead was given millions of dollars by a Ukrainian energy company and a CCP linked businessman for his business acumen. They literally don't care how many whistleblowers or former business associates come forward with explicit knowledge and evidence of corruption until the TV tells them to.

Hunter Biden plea deal falls apart during first court appearance

DOJ prosecutors said Hunter Biden is currently under investigation

Hunter Biden's plea deal fell apart during his first court appearance Wednesday morning, as federal prosecutors confirmed the president's son is still under federal investigation.

The president's son was expected to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax, as part of plea deal to avoid jail time on a felony gun charge.

But Judge Maryellen Noreika pressed federal prosecutors on the investigation and questioned whether there was the possibility for future charges.

The judge asked prosecutors if Hunter Biden was currently under active investigation. Prosecutors said he was, but would not answer specifically what the president's son is under investigation for.

Prosecutors on Wednesday said Hunter Biden pleading guilty to the two misdemeanor tax offenses would not immunize him from future charges.

The judge asked whether a potential violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act was under consideration, but prosecutors were tight-lipped on the matter.

The judge put the court in recess and asked that federal prosecutors and Biden's legal team discuss the plea deal, telling the court that they did not appear to be in agreement on the terms.

Hunter Biden was also expected to enter into a pretrial diversion agreement regarding a separate felony charge of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

His plea deal, which has faced ire from Republicans and opponents of the president, was likely to keep Hunter Biden out of jail.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

Not surprisingly, the DOJ mucked this up, assuming the judge would play ball. Not so fast.

Also, it's a known fact that no drug addict has ever lied in a text message.

TLDR version - The communists tried giving Hunter an unprecedented deal for immunity and the judge was like wtf?

What does that mean?

You believe every word a drug addict says is true?

It figures.

Text messages prove nothing. They'd have to prove Joe was with him. Hunter was all kinds of ef'd up and trading in his dad's name to anybody who would pay him. Even Republicans found no evidence that Hunter's dalliance with Burisma impacted foreign policy.

Hunter is a drug addict with few marketable skills who traded in his dad's name to fund a sex and drugs lifestyle.

That doesn't make Joe guilty. And to date zero evidence that would lead to indicting let alone convicting Joe has been revealed.

Republicans should count their blessings that Joe has a troubled son he has stood by through all of this. Otherwise they'd have absolutely nothing. They're still doing their damnedest to make Joe guilty by association.

It's certainly not implausible that Joe may be implicated. But until he he, it's a lot of theories with no evidence.

If this refers to a time when Biden was VP, then this is easy -- the Secret Service would know where he was at all times and have a record. If after he left office, then you can still look into where he was. Also, it's less damning if he was a private citizen, obviously.

Aww shucks, he's just a loving father standing next to his troubled son. There are people out there who unironically believe this, and it's amazing.

Yawn. the Judge wants more info to support the deal. Not a big deal. Doesn't mean the deal is off. Let's see what happens in 30 days.

I believe it's from the summer of 2017, after he was out of office

Edit: yes, July 2017. I'm not even sure what they're trying to say was happening there that could be criminal, I figured this was just standard use of taxpayer funds to fuel a government backed investigation into a political rival.

You can't just usher Joe into prison because he triggers you. You need evidence and due process. Even Trump had multiple grand juries presented with evidence. You have nothing because there is nothing.

has it been proven that pop pop was actually there ? if so then have at them. if not, go do some more investigating.

I'm the interest of truth, those are legitimate messages that were given in a different format by WhatsApp when evidence was requested. They put them in these graphics just for display purposes.

They added the bold for effect.

Hunter Biden plea deal is back on after nearly falling apart in court

https://www.yahoo.com/news/hunter-biden-plea-deal-back-163905739.html

Hunter Biden agreed to a revised plea deal Wednesday for the two federal misdemeanor counts he incurred regarding his failure to pay taxes in 2017 and 2018 following a disagreement over a separate gun charge earlier in the day that led the judge presiding over the case to pause the proceedings until the parties could reach a resolution, CNN reports.

According to NBC News, Trump-appointed U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika questioned earlier on Wednesday the terms of the plea deal the president's son struck with U.S. Attorney David Weiss of Delaware, another Trump-appointed official. Noreika asked whether the gun charge was linked to the deal and if there were more serious charges that could be brought against Biden. Weiss confirmed that the investigation into Biden is ongoing and further charges may be brought, prompting protest from Biden's lawyers, who believed he would be given immunity.

The original deal said that prosecutors would recommend probation for the tax violations, while dropping a separate felony gun charge if Biden met certain conditions outlined in court. The revised deal now covers the time period from 2014 to 2019 and only handles Hunter Biden's conduct related to tax offenses, drug use and gun possession. Both sides have also agreed that the new deal does not protect Hunter Biden from potential future charges.

Yes but the judge rejected the plea deal.
