Loved his first tour with us, but his second tour should be written off as a failure. Time to cut ties and give our attention to the young guys that will play. Road to Victory Posted October 26, 2020 Share Posted October 26, 2020 The worst part about signing Jackson and Jeffery is that Howie didn’t give the Eagles an easy out. Usually, that’s what GM’s do with an aging/declining player contract. Give themselves an out without much of a cap hit. Howie did the opposite, both guys have huge cap hits. So true. Was looking at Spotrac. If we release both Alshon & DJax after 6/1, we will end up losing $7m in dead cap in 2021 and $9m in dead cap in 2022.
