They can't have it both ways. For 4 years they cheered while Trump called our country a ish hole, now suddenly it offers "the highest standard of living anywhere in the world". I know Biden's good, but he hasn't transformed every aspect of the country in 100 days.

Whether a majority of the population subjectively qualifies as "racist" is not a way to look at the situation. That's beside the point to me. It's a racist country because racism is so deeply rooted and inbuilt in such pervasive ways that our structural features are heavily influenced by racism.

Our public education system teaches this^ to children from elementary school through college. Is it any wonder the younger generation hates this country? Time to start home-schooling, people.

There is certainly a mentality of victimhood that people buy too far into, that is unhealthy, unproductive, and that gets taken to the extreme. I often find myself pushing back against this on the left because some people do seem to revel in victimhood, but these sentiments generally spring from legitimate grievances. The structural features of racism are objectively well-documented. You are in denial. You do not erase the effects of hundreds of years of subjugation and discrimination by simply outlawing slavery. You need to fundamentally reform the system.

Don't know why you're bringing me into this.  I don't think America is a racist country.  I think the majority of the country is decent, normal people, and we have 76 Million fascist traitors that hate America.

I don't teach this. I am expressing my personal opinion on a message board. I keep my personal views out of the classroom and merely provide information, contextualize it, and help organize it. It's up to the students to decide what it means.
